You cannot visit Boone without stopping by Earth Fare. From natural household cleaners to the most delicious baked goods to beers & wines, and produce, consider the impact of pesticides and chemicals on your health & the planet. The food is not only better for you; I have found that most organic just tastes better!

Even if you are just coming to Boone for the day, I like to buy what I need for a picnic (use a ice cooler) and have the small feast at the rest area.

Earth fare also has so many delicious alternatives for healthier snacks, cereals, dairy & meats.

The people that work here are the nicest and most helpful.

I have a thing for their fresh baked baguette, the Calabrese antipasto olives from the olive bar & the Olli salami. Yum!

Great place to go shopping. Their prices are equal or better for organic foods. They have loads of vegan, gluten-free foods. They have absolutely the best gluten-free bagels and sandwich buns so soft incredible! I highly recommend stopping and seeing all they have to offer.

I can't tell you how excited I was when I learned there is an Earthfare in Boone. I love the wide range of items they have here. Different cultural foods, great prepared food, excellent selection of healthcare products. It's usually very busy. They have lots of produce, a wide selection of bulk products, and lots of vegan alternative items. Love Love Love Earthfare.

Earth Fare grocery store exceeded our expectations! Our drive from Banner Elk was worth it as they were the only store in the area carrying vegan marshmallows, a delightful find for us. The store's wide selection of organic and vegan products impressed us, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. A true haven for health-conscious shoppers. We'll definitely make the trip again for our grocery needs!

Love it here! My daughters’s wedding vendor was cancelled last minute and the employee was a wonderful help to me. He helped me reach many ingredients and find everything under a time crunch. The meal turned out delicious and you could taste the quality. I will never shop anywhere but earthfare from this day on.

Dropped in to get some food for a bbq, as we were visiting family in boone, great selection of meat and fish(new York strips excellent) as was the salmon. All of the staff throughout were polite and helpful and happy at their workplace. Great selection of wine and cheeses too. A really nice store with quality produce.

Greatest Earth Fare of all time! Every Staff member that works here is kind and knows polite manners! The staff at the food market are very helpful and generous. They allowed me to get 2 Yummy Vegetarian Food items in 1 Container. Leaving this Earth Fare I feel bad for dropping a cheese sample and not being able to find it to trash it, but as I turn around one of the staff saw it and trashed it for me. I have many great things to say about this place, for sure will go back again!

This store has a wonderful selection of organic and healthy and tasty foods at superb prices! Their prices are overall comparable or better than other markets in the area. Their meat department has a great selection of both corn-fed and grass-fed beef, which are my go-to meats plus excellent chicken and fish choices. Very helpful and friendly staff, in addition.

Choices and Integrity! Great food Ethik and extremely Clean and helpful. It's important in these days to know where your food comes from, and whats been added to it. This place is an easy5 Stars, and then some!

I was pleasantly surprised at the prepared foods. I had the pork, collards, and also bought a rotisserie chicken and fresh-made guacamole from the deli case. Everything was fresh, delicious, nicely seasoned, not loaded with salt like lots of places do. The chicken fell off the bone, not dry and chewy like lots of rotisserie. The guacamole was perfectly flavored, although the packaging was messy, it was the best I’ve had in a long time. Whoever does the cooking knows what they’re doing, although the food looked a little sad, but it was Saturday afternoon and probably had been prepared earlier. I’m glad I didn’t let that put me off. They said they were short-staffed today. Gotta give credit to folks coming to work now, and give businesses a break coming out of Covid. We stopped by to put together a picnic to take hiking. Excellent selection throughout the store, including lots of vegan options, too. Will definitely return!

Its so nice to have access to quality food. I hope as a society we move to help everyone Access the amazing quality and food offered at stores like this. Lets all shop at places like this to help the economy of scale reduce the price of "real" food.

Nice lady helped me decide on the most tasty dishes in the deli. A friendly guy rung up my groceries and watched my groceries while l went to the powder room. As you know, little acts of kindness sure do go a long way for a wayfaring traveler. Thanks you all!

Go here and let your inner hippie loose. I've lived in or near Boulder, Colorado my whole life and I have been in a variety of what we called, "health food stores," since end of the true hippie age in the 70's up until the present. This place has a good selection of a wide variety of organic, free-range, sustainably produced, patchouli sprinkled items that will sustain the most motivated of neo-hippies that come here to shop. The place appears to be clean. The staff are friendly, helpful neo-hippie types that remind me of the real hippies that used to populate Boulder before it became so pretentious (Boone is mostly there too, but it's got a decade or two before it gets that exclusive). I recommend it.

Great friendly staff, awesome healthy option and unique foods

I try to always stop by Earth Fare whenever I am in Boone. As a frequent Whole Foods shopper, I can say that Earth Fare is extremely similar in terms of product offerings and prices. I like visiting this Earth Fare because it is much more serene and quiet in atmosphere—whereas Whole Foods stores can oftentimes feel a bit busy and chaotic. A must visit for anyone into organic grocery options!

I love it and am so grateful it is here. Friendly ambience, top grade produce and products, a wide variety of herbs and supplements. The eatery happily reminds me of Berkeley, actually the ambience reminds me of wonderful Berkeley. Being like Berkeley is a very high recommendation, and Earth Fare meets it. I love eating there, and am confident in the quality of the delicious foods. People working there and shopping there seem to usually be more health conscious, and Earth Fare promotes this, as well as community building and consciousness. THANK YOU EARTH FARE!!!
