Dirty's Bar & Grill

Went for Sunday brunch. Beautiful day on the patio with live music. Had the pineapple upside down pancakes. They were fluffy and delicious. Also pleasantly surprised at how good the beer-mosa was too! Will definitely be back!

Whenever I am in Charleston for work, I do spend some of my lunches and once and a while, dinners, at Dirty's Bar and Grill. The staff here are welcoming, and I have always had bartenders make good suggestions for both beverages and food. This place isn't a fancy restaurant but a familiar place for decent bar food and nice sports bar with each season. My two go to entrees is the yum yum bowl where they have strips of steak over a bed of rice and vegetables and it is glazed over with some in house yum yum sauce, a must try. My second go to is the fish tacos, which are offered fried or grilled. There's a good variety of food here and a lot of options that I haven't tried yet, and they do change up their menu every now and again, so if you are a local you will be able to try something new. They have several desserts but what sticks out to me the most are these rolls of cookie dough which are wrapped in wonton wrappers, fried, and placed in a martini glass with a scoop of ice cream. And I am easy to please.

What I like about Dirty's is that it's consistent. I know that when I eat here, the food is going to be good, the cocktails are going to be delicious and the beer is going to be cold.

I've eaten here a lot and have had just about everything on the menu. The burgers are a great go-to if you can't decide what to order. The pile is great if you want a little bit of everything and are willing to tackle a mountain of food.

Wait staff is super friendly and attentive. Food comes out really fast even during dinner rush.

We came here on a relatively busy afternoon (weekend of girl's state track meet) and were seated immediately with a group of 10. Our server moved quickly was able to get drinks and food order within 5 minutes. The kitchen was quick as well; we waited for probably no more than 15 minutes after order was placed. I was very surprised how good the food was for a bar/grill. A pretty extensive menu from rice bowls and fish tacos to piles/horshoes. I got the traditional pile with buffalo chicken and loved it. The flip it and reverse it grilled cheese was also another group favorite. Drink menu and specials also looked good but we did not partake. Atmosphere definitely caters to a more barlike crowd, but there were several families present. Overall, one of the best food establishments I've visited in Charleston.

Well this was my second time here in two years the first time wasn’t a great experience. My daughter talked me into a second try. And this time not only has the speed of service improved the food quality has vastly improved. Those spicy cheese things are VERY good my taco salad (I didn’t get jalapeño) was absolutely huge with generous portions of meat fresh avacado. Romaine lettuce which I was happy to see over iceberg. Great experience our waitress was friendly very busy and super fast. After this experience I will be back for more.

It was a great lunch! The atmosphere was great and the food was great!! Can't wait to go back for date night! ❤

Hope was our server and she was SO helpful accommodating my allergies. I had the fish tacos and a mango margarita and would HIGHLY recommend!

The Italian beef was great. The server helped us figure out what our kids with food allergies could eat. We were all very happy.

Stopped in today to celebrate our nephews graduation from EIU. Congratulations Jake!!

We had a party of 6 at about 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Seated immediately. The service was very quick and friendly. Food came quickly and was delicious! Dirty Signature Burger is a must. Only gave 5 stars because there wasn't anything higher.

I was really impressed with this place! Driving through on my way to somewhere else, the reviews convinced me to try the piles here. Oh my, the signature pile, with the waffle fries, chicken, ranch, buffalo, and cheese may be the best fry concoction I have ever had. Add to that the low price to add a side (I went with salad, also delicious), how really friendly the staff were, and how cute the inside looked (wished I weren't carrying out, looked like they had a lot of drinks specials!), this place is one I will definitely look up again if I end up in this area. The students are lucky to have something so delicious and awesome close to their campus!

Once again Dirty’s did not disappoint.. fantastic food hot fresh delicious plentiful with awesome employees a clean environment and reasonably priced menu. Family friendly full bar handicap accessible.

The food is excellent. So many unique choices! I had the shrimp tacos, Amazing!

We took our family out for a little birthday celebration here. Everybody loved the food and the service was great. I got the Craison Apple Chicken Salad and it was amazing! Thanks for a great night guys!

Any Pile you get is good. The alcoholic drinks are the bomb. All around an awesome place to eat and drink

Great menu, mostly house made items, served quick and hot. Well stocked bar with drink specials. Wait staff is friendly and efficient. My favorite place when visiting Eastern Illinois University!

What a great place! We went to celebrate a birthday and the staff was more than willing to celebrate with. The service was excellent and so were the food and drinks. We will definitely be back for more!!! Found my new Charleston favorite!

Really enjoyed lunch here. We shared the Dirty's Nachos and Kickin Curds. Nachos were huge the two of us did not finish them.

We dined outdoors and enjoyed the patio area. The food was very good and came out quickly. The wait staff was quick, friendly, & accommodating.

Great service. Fantastic atmosphere. Rocking the music vibe. Food was exceptional. Thank you for an awesome time.
