County Market

Always love County Market. They usually have better than average produce, and a decent selection of all products. I prefer to patronize a smaller more localized business.

Best fresh food market I have seen in years. Prices are good too! Try it, think, no I know you will like it.

It sucked bad,they harassed me the entire time! They ban me from store for unknown reasons and suspect don't even have a valid reason, they just don't like me at all. I don't recommend this overpriced store to anyone of any situation they may be in.... avoid it like they

This is a tough one. Sure the store is nice they've got good quality merchandise but this day I went they were a bit lacking in customer service. I approached the register and the associate standing there did not say hi or acknowledge me this person merely looked up to notice that their light was indeed on. They were taking what look to be $20 bills and very methodically crumbling each one up and placing it on the scanner in front. I asked the person if they were crumbling them so that they would ensure they did not inadvertently give two together. They acknowledged affirmatively but I already knew the answer because I've done this kind of job many times in life. Anyway I waited for probably close to 7 or 8 minutes and that might not seem long but when you have an appointment and you have only accounted for so much time and unusual disruption like this can be a problem. I very politely looked at this associate and asked if they knew how much longer this process might take before I could be checked out. Person said oh probably not much longer now. LOL and then the person asked was I in a hurry? To which I answered affirmatively and the person quite disappointed looking proceeded to straighten out all of the bills put them together put them in the register and finally after about 15 minutes I was able to leave the store. So let's think about this review the place is good the product is good but the help could use some better training. Now to be fair let's say I have been removed from the customer service industry for probably 30 years so I really don't know the stressors that people in the setting face. Judging by the way people seem to treat one another I think they probably get treated rather poorly. Anyway this was a good trip but maybe just an opportunity to put some customer focused training together. They still get a five-star review you know why because that's what normal people are supposed to do. If you have no problem with the things you went there for don't ding them because you had a minor customer service kerfuffle. People Are People times are tough right now. Give everybody a break. And honestly I wasn't mad at this person it was quite humorous. Because it looks like something I would have done when I was younger LOL.

Nice selection of products. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Some specialty items along with beer and wine and cheese. There has been a noticeable improvement in their meats. The meats used to be somewhat fatty for the cut but I have seen that the meats are right on or even in some cases slightly lean. Very nice

Wide selection of food options; the bakery and deliboptions are good as well. The upstairs section has tables and couches and is a great place to hang out or study. Very family friendly. Free wifi is available as well!

The Bakery staff really goes above and beyond to be helpful ....thank you for taking time to fox a cake while I waited. I appreciated your willingness to take care of me.

If you need heart healthy food items this is where to go. My diet had to change due to heart and health issues and they have a specific area just for that. I don't have to search the whole store it is all in one place I love it.

Clean, nice grocery store. Came by to grab a bouquet for a relative in the hospital. Great floral selection.

I love the produce, bakery, and meat counter. The staff is always helpful. The store is always clean and welcoming. I love that they have a mezzanine that offers a place to sit down and eat what you buy from the deli. There is free wifi access. I think it's great to have something like this for the community but mostly a place off campus that the EIU students can go to and be in a clean safe environment.

When you're tired of putting up with Wal-Mart's lack.of customer service, come here. In general, you are going to pay a little more. But, I can get in and out of here in half the time that it takes me at Wal-Mart. The meat is better. The deli section is better. The staff is amazing. And, if you are watching every dime, there are deals to be had every week, so you can make it work if you're savvy.

There's some issues regarding the MyCountyMarket app which isn't the fault of this location. Basically, to use your digital card, you need the intervention of a staff member as the self-check doesn't recognize the barcode in the app.

Friendly helpful staff. Aisles are clearly labeled which makes shopping easier. Wonderful produce section and deli. Definitely check out their meatpacking. The store is always clean and items are usually easy to locate, bit if you have difficulty the staff is always extremely helpful in assisting you locating your item.

I love to go to County Market. Their bakery, deli and meat department are much better quality than any other store in Charleston. If the prices were just a little lower, I would shop there all the time. Plus it always smells so good when you go in!😋

Great deli, bakery & nice array of fresh fruits & vegetables. Salmon & Sushi are very adequate considering our distance to the ocean!

Their vegetable and fish section are very good. They do have wide variety of products. Besides, they provide money order services, western union service etc. They have the coinstar. Overall, all these make it a convenient place to shop.
