Revival City Doughnuts

I live an hour away and each time I am in town I pass this cute shop, yesterday we finally stopped to try them out and WOW!!!! Most amazing, delicious donuts ever! The variety was impressive, the prices were surprisingly low given how these doughnuts are more of a gourmet experience than your every day gas station pastry. They are very obviously hand made and FRESH!!!!! I would drive another hour just to try a few more flavors and definitely plan to visit them any time I'm in the area. Oh, and the best part... the customer service was phenomenal. Fred was a sweetheart, had great recommendations, and packed up our order with great care. Love they are open late (on fridays) too, because we all know donuts are really best for dessert ;) This place is doing it right!!!!!!

Amazing! I've been by this gem several times, but today was my first time stopping. I tried the cream filled maple square. Absolutely amazing!

These aren't "store donuts" these are fresh made by people who care!

If you ever find yourself driving by, don't wait as long as I did to stop. Pull up and buy some! I'll be back tomorrow for a variety!

Always a treat to stop by the Revival, now you just order over phone and pick up outside the door. Amazing donuts. Really fresh tasting. Tastes like quality ingredients. Don't taste artificial. There were new Donuts each day. Highly recommend this place. Friendly people behind the counter as well. The stuffed donuts are Awesome. Friendly service, tasty options make this a win. I am definitely coming back! It's been few months they started business in our home town. You need to come early to taste fresh donuts, as they do sell out.

Any time they are open I stop and grab some donuts. I have tried several different types and have never been disappointed. This past Saturday, EIU homecoming, my mom and I were having a girls day and my mom had never been there. We stopped and a fresh batch of glazed has just came out. I was in absolute heaven and so was my mom. If you are ever in the area and have a love for doughnuts you won’t be disappointed unless it’s because they are out of your favorite kind as they sell out quickly. The picture is an Apple fritter and a strawberry glazed.

The owner was extremely friendly and proud of the doughnuts she's creating. They were delicious, very fresh hand made including the fillings.

I assumed it was closed because Google said it closes at 12, but the actual hours are 5:30am to when they run out.

I love it. I don't have a sweet tooth but I enjoyed their doughnuts. I have tried their maple syrup, plain, glazed, long john, revival city doughnuts to name a view... and they also come up with unique doughnuts created just for that day! No wonder they always have customers!

I honestly am in love with this place. I placed an online order last night for todays pickup, the donuts are super fresh, they practically melt in your mouth. I definitely recommend going to revival city doughnuts. The only flaw is they aren’t open all week, only Thursday Friday & Saturday. But it’s definitely worth waiting a week to restock on doughnuts!

All the doughnuts I’ve tried have been great (I choose ones with flavor profiles I like i.e. fruity pebbles, Oreo, chocolate, vanilla). I’ve gotta recommend the daddy-o (really tastes like those cupcakes!!!), tutti-frutti and maple square. Of course, can’t go wrong with an original donut.

They sell out often so I recommend going when they open as you’ll have the best luck of getting the donuts you want. Also, check their Facebook page as they often post their menu for the day there.

The staff are always so kind and sweeter than the donuts. The best doughnuts I’ve ever had. I live in Charleston right now but plan to move to Champaign soon. I don’t care what Champaign offers, I will travel down for these doughnuts, always.

Homemade!! One of the top 5 donuts I’ve ever had! Highly recommended! Great service as well.

My friends and I always vacation in the Central Illinois area for the beautiful views but ESPECIALLY for the amazing culinary experiences that can be found in this bountiful region of America’s heartland. These doughnuts did not disappoint. Fresh, doughy, and fried to perfection, Revival City Doughnuts will certainly become a staple of our future regional culinary adventures.

They were very nice and helpful with helping me pick out donuts to replace some of my other ones, and every single one of the workers had a super nice and kind-hearted attitude! One of Chucktown's best local businesses by far!

One of the best donut places ever!! I though I knew what a Donut tasted like. Then came Revival City. Hot glaze, cinnamon twists, and many others are among my favorites. Everyone has their favorites, but after revival city my taste in regards to donuts changed.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Oh my GOSH! These doughnuts are SOOOO good. It was my first time here, and we just got 2 dozen doughnut holes, expecting them to be kind of meh, like most places. But THESE were moist, tasted JUST made, had a good amount of glaze, and were do delicious. My husband and I couldn't stop eating them. I can't wait to try the other items. Staff was very nice, and prices were great. FIVE STARS from me for Revival City Doughnuts!!!

Charleston is lucky to have this little gem! The doughnuts are delicious and their customer service is fantastic. I love that you can order ahead and there’s a drive thru to grab them. The maple squares and raspberry jelly are our family favorites!

The gourmet donuts are exquisite. They are a pastry masterpiece with bountiful flavors. Best donuts I have ever had!!
