Elgin Buffet

I been a loyal customer for many years, today I found some cards in my drawer for the free lunch, lady in the front was super Friendly, very Helpful...Thanks!!!

Place is the best Chinese Buffet in the area.
Price includes drinks and soft serve machine.
Food was all very good including tender ribs and juicy chicken!

Hadn't been here in years! I remember the food not tasting good and that's why I stopped going. But now many years later, I gave it another try. The food was excellent! Lots of variety and very tasty. A bit expensive but it's on par with other buffets so can't complain. The restaurant was clean as well. The staff are not friendly so don't expect a "hi" or a smile back, but the food was great.

This place serves alcoholic beverages and has a karaoke night on Fridays,perfect for birthday celebrations or other type of celebrations. Food was on point.

Food delicious. Self service fair. The only little down side was karaoke was very loud, but overall good experience. Sushi were perfect, good balance and flavor. Water drinks available are so refreshing.

We were at Elgin and craved for a buffet but for the first time eating here it wasn't disappointing. Their food were great and not too salty/MSG compared to most Asian buffet we had. Just the utensils and soup cups/plates that needs more sanitize to get off the stains and greases. Would come back next time!

Exactly what you expect from an Asian buffet. Delicious food with many good choices. Inside definitely could use updating but that doesn't bother me any. Only criticism is the hibachi grill is VERY slow. You'll be the only one waiting in line and still be waiting 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, a great buffet!

We celebrated my mom birthday here and they made a song and a ballon had for the occasion

I've been here before the pandemic change. This is my first time since after it open back up. I haven't been to many buffets since Covid. This one, by far, the best one I've been too. Price is decent and not trying to charge and take advantage of the whole inflation. I'm usually so picky when it comes to Chinese/Asian food especially for buffets because I'm Chinese and can tell the difference. This place was pretty clean, workers were friendly and nice, and the sushi was Edible! The soft serve was actually full of flavor and not watered down. I didn't try much fruits but the dessert was also pretty good. Overall, I'd come back again. Didn't use the washroom to see if it was clean or dirty tho. Oh, this beats Royal buffet by a whole football field. My two toddlers.. 5yrs old ate 4 decent plates including desserts and my 3yrs old ate a good 1 full plate and then some hellos and ice cream. Mind you, my 3yrs old usually don't eat much of this. I'd definitely come back again. Keep it up!

FANTASTIC food! Always busy with local customers, that alone says alot! Even in the busiest time, short wait for a table. Kind and courteous staff! I go there alone, I'm treated very well as any other customers! I've seen big family groups and me only one.. very service, regardless how many in the group, one or 10. All customers are well seen after by serving staff! I was a restaurant manager for 9 years! I know good service and attention to each and every customer! They are tops!! All customers equally valuable!

Clean. Food was good. Husband and I will be back again and again. I can't wait to try the hibachi. Which does not make the atmosphere smokey. Did try the hibachi loved it was so good.

At the Elgin Buffet Family and Friend can expect a spread in my opinion a great selection of seafood, when your dine inside. If you have a large party, not to worry as there is plenty of seating inside the dining area . You'll find that it is noisy, but not rowdy. After dinner you may want to stay a little bit to try your luck on some video gaming machines they have located to the east of the restaurant. Currently there are a total of 7 machines available to customers. Not only do they have machines but they also have a little ice cream shop over the summer with a fantastic Duo who decorates ice cream... It brings out the child in every adult and keeps the child in every little boy and girl. Go check it out with family or just friends. Even by yourself wouldn't be so bad. I promise it'll be worth it!

This is a great place to Dine in my family. I loved how the sushi is made and the Karaoke was great.

I like it here. It's a staple of this community.

If you don't like mexican karaoke please don't come Friday's and Saturday's. Good place... bad karaoke.
