Emily's Mexican Grill

The servers were nice. Good size restaurant, even has a bar area. Guacamole could use a little more salt but definitely fresh, Salsa was a little watery, but the food itself was really good. I had the Birria Taco dinner, and a Tamale, the wife had the Chile Relleno dinner, and we were impressed. Would go back!

We love Emily's. Carry out was missing some minor things twice but now we know to ask when ordering and double check at pickup. Friendly and fast. Their birria tacos and the dipping sauce are awesome!🔥💣🤯

Food is so delicious, the steak is actually real skirt steak. Service is great!! Definitely recommend the this place.

Discovered this place while walking today. Decided to try it and so glad we did!

We ordered veggie burritos, which are FILLED with delicious ingredients. We also tried the corn in the cup - so tasty and the corn is FRESH sweet corn!! Uniquely refreshing flavors in everything we tried.

Server was really helpful and courteous, too. Brought out our food and bottles of hot sauce since we sat outside.

We will definitely be back!

I have had their tacos de carne asada and they are delicious. Very juicy and tender. I ordered it plain with lemon. Other plates have been good too but I love tacos de carne asada. That's the only place I would order my tacos. No where else. It tastes like real carne asada. You should check it out.
The atmosphere is not the best like other places but it looks spacious and clean.

The food is excellent! I have yet to have anything that was overcooked! Tender chicken, beef and pork in the dishes I have enjoyed!

My favorite is their Birria tacos with their frozen margaritas! 😃👍🍻

I'm really picky about my meat. So much so my mom use to say I was difficult to cook for. So, it's rare when I say meat taste good. But Emily's is damn good! Emily's steak tacos or steak anything has never disappointed me. So perfectly seasoned without the fat and nasty parts. Im also picky about my burritos and NEVER get a steak burrito from anywhere else except for Emily's cause it's so good. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some amazing delicious and good quality Mexican food. We have Emily's a few times a month. The salad is also great!

Truly a hidden jem. Delicious hot and fast food. This is my new goto for Steak tacos. Service could use some more training however all the staff were friendly and helpful. Give Emily's a chance, you won't regret it. Yum!

The employees were kind and helpful. The food was good my partner loves the burritos, the horchata had coarse cinnamon which left an uncomfortable feeling drinking it but good flavor (I recommend drinking from the top after the cinnamon settles at the bottom). The steak burritos lack the amount of meat I prefer but could be easily fixed by ordering double meat.

The Best Tacos in Elgin.. No doubt. Fast and friendly service fresh food. Just opened a bar. Open till 2 am on Saturday. Dont snooze on this place.

Emily! You’ve won my heart with the loaded burrito. Whether with steak or Al pastor, it is delicious every time. And very reasonably priced.

Tasty! There red sauce is packed with some heat. Awesome tasty Berria tacos tortilla crunchy highly recommend this place.
