Best bartenders in town!! Lots of fun! A lot of good people frequent here! Its a very laid back, accepting atmosphere! Its been my experience that everyone is pleasant and inviting!! Bar is well-kept and clean and they have a good variety of beer and all the latest mixed drink ingredients!!!

Great crowd, meat and service a place to go when you appreciate some real juicy meat.

This is a north end landmark. Located directly across from the State Fair grounds. Free peanuts by the barrel! It's old and has a real "tavern" feel. I think it's a great place to meet friends and have a beer. One of the few places that has Schlitz and Shiner in a bottle.

Great People. Cheap Premium drinks. I wasn't expecting to be greeted and treated so well. See, I was the only Black Guy in the place. My first stop on my return trip.

I was harrassed and annoyed by the same jamokes that seem to not only visit, but live there....and I welcomed it with enthusiasm. Home is home. Can't deny where you come from...Go Lions!

We've always had a blast at Frannnies every time we're at the Springfield Mile

We always went to Franny's during the Illinois State Fair.
They had the best Chili and BeefBurgers, as well as liquid refreshments.
A lot of Tall Beef Cattle "Tails" we're spun here by such notables as
John Tolan, Tolan's Aberdeen Angus, from Pleasant Plains Illinois.
And our good friend, Wayne Hanner, Hanner's Angus from Elkhart, Illinois.
If you haven't been, you really need to go!!
