This place was right up our alley. Lot's of tasty beverage choices. Not your typical bar food selection. We ordered steak and eggs and a meat lovers omlete. Well seasoned and full of flavor. The music selection was great. We also enjoyed the Stein holding challenge on TV. Our bartender made everything enjoyable. We really enjoyed our custom built Bloody Marys!

This place is a serious contender for one of the best restaurants in Springfield.

The "Lincoln Log" appetizer was surprisingly good.

Our server was friendly and attentive, our meals came out quickly (without any flaws), and each of us was impressed by the quality and flavor of our selections.

Wonderful bar selection, even including non-alcoholic options.

Beyond all that, the view of the capitol building from the front door of the restaurant is really great!

If you're here visiting the Illinois State Museum (which is free, by the way), it's an easy walk!

This food was awesome. The wife and I made ourselves miserable. It was cooked to order, super hot, and those waffle fries had a good crunch. Great service also.

Fantastic bar and restaurant next to the free parking lot for the capitol complex. We just had to order the horseshoe and the pork tenderloin, and both were quite good. The sweet potato fries are cut into waffles and come with a great brown sugary dip. They even serve a great Old Fashioned to boot. Highly recommended.

Very unique menu with delicious options. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. The entrance was hard to open when we went, so we ended up going through a back way our first time. One of the draft beers we ordered was flat and tasted off, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Great brunch spot!

These guys are doing it right! A fantastic atmosphere for gathering with friends or a very comfortable dining experience. Brunch, lunch, or dinner... all have been wonderful. Tonight we also enjoyed live acoustic music. A pleasant experience every time we stop in. Put this one on your list!

First visit. Won’t be the last. Delicious Mac n cheese with braised short rib. Fish and chips are also great. Kaila was a great server. A very nice dinner.

Great service good food. One of the many Springfield local gems. Patio is relaxing and inviting. Sunday bloody Sunday has a great Bloody Mary so many options and extras. This place does it all it's a great place to go for dinner just drinks or for the nightlife. never had anything here I didn't like good specials on food and drinks.

great atmosphere and staff. live jazz is friday 530 to 730pm and country music is live 6pm to about 9pm saturday. i had the short ribs and wife had the philly steak sandwich and both were terrific. some online menu items are no longer served like the blackened fettuccine alfredo, but it all was good.

Every time we come to Springfield Illinois, this is a must stop to eat! Love the chef that cooks for this kitchen, food is always awesome! Happy with their beer selection as well

Boone's was suggested by the security guards at the Capital and did not disappoint. We were there at noon on a Saturday so they were serving only breakfast items but there was plenty to pick from. The kids loved the Chocolate Chip pancakes and the bacon was perfect.

It isn't Western themed. More if a 90s bar. The food is excellent though! Highly recommended the sweet potato waffle fries and cinnamon sauce!

Just changed hands, and we were there during soft opening. Service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. The food was very tasty. We had the Carolina Hot Chicken Naan-wich, it was tasty, not hot, and a little sweet. We also had the Cobb salad with blackened chicken, with ranch dressing. It was excellent!

Mike the best ever! Took really good care of us, even thou they were closing in 15mins, still managed to make our memories memorable. Thank u all 4 making us feel welcomed.

Rachel was great and so was the food, inside was nice and clean. Had fish and chips with cheese sauce and a side Caesar

Great place! Brunch on Saturday and Sunday is the best! I had the haystack and it was delicious! We also got the cranberry walnut French toast for the table of 5 to share and that was a real treat! The pitcher of mimosas was also perfect. The seating outdoors added a nice atmosphere with the capital in the background. All the staff was very friendly and our waitress was second to none. It was all great; we were only disappointed that we were missing the live music. They were setting up as we were leaving g at 10am.

It was so good we dived right in before taking a picture and proof it was all delicious because there was nothing left!

Love a restaurant that opens at 8:00 am with a full bar. The glazed short ribs were fantastic.

Enjoyed the food. Amanda's service was excellent. Will definitely be going back.
