The staff is always prompt and kind. I take the whole family and we can be a little loud and messy but they are still very friendly. Food is delicious.

We live almost an hour away but always try to visit this hidden jem of a Mexican restaurant often! We love their chicken fajita taco salads and their complementary fresh chips and salsa are delicious. This place also holds a special place in our heart as it is where me and our husband had our first date many years ago 💓

Was sad to see the Springfield location close but it's worth the short drive to Sherman to get some authentic and tasty Mexican food!

Been eating here since it opened more than 20 years ago. Service was good, place was clean and food was good. Highly recommend you give it a try! Update: We've been back a few times over the last several months and had amazing experiences each time. The food was great, it was served hot and quickly after ordering, our servers have been prompt and friendly.

Very good got in half hour before they closed and was very tasty. Service was ok but not great. Had to wait several minutes to get refill drinks amd chips and salsa several times. Still but another 4 people at another table amd 2 at another. So it wasn't busy busy.

Delicious! Quick and friendly service in the middle of the lunch hour. Great lunch prices. Food was hot and just the right amount. They even had a choice of mild and hot sauce with the warm chips! Stopping again on our way home. Yummy!

No problems with the food or the service. Great place for Mexican food.

Ben is GREAT!!! Tonight was the second time we’ve had him and he is so nice! They’re short staffed in there and only had 2 servers working and him and 2 others were running back and forth sweating to help the servers! That’s teamwork right there! Great good! Kinda expensive but it’s worth it! :)

Much better than the Cancun restaurant in Springfield. Both the food and service were excellent. Even though there were 23 of us, they managed to get all our orders correct, whereas the restaurant off Dirksen Pkwy couldn't manage to get 4 orders correct. The Cancun in Sherman, Illinois has the quality I expect from this Mexican restaurant chain which I have patronized since it was first introduced to the Springfield area many years ago.

Unbelievably delicious,service was outstanding and our serve had a wonderful smile the whole time, it speaks for how he truly enjoyed his job, it's my now, go to place every time, in springfield.

I would say this restaurant is the one we frequent the most. Their queso is amazing. I order the steak quesadilla. Husband gets the beef chimichanga. The kids like the tacos and fries. Margaritas are good too.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Food has full flavor and not bland like chain restaurants. My dish was flavorful, but not spicy.

Man we.havent been there in a while cause of the shut down .of everything. The food was plentiful. Prices are still well worth it .the staff was.very freindly. We.will be back again for.sure

My group of three went in after a wedding, about 45 minutes before they closed. We were the only guests but the girls were pleasant and not annoyed that we were coming in so late. Good was yummy and the service was great 😊

The waitstaff is amazing and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is alive even if there's not many people in the restaurant. Qn all around great place to eat

I really like this little restaurant! They have really really good Mexican food. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food actually was. Also the workers are nice and didn't annoy is while we were eating even though they did make sure we had what we needed. I had the chimichanga with chicken and it came with a big serving of rice and beans and guac and it was great!

Always consistent food and service. We usually come in with 4-6 at the table (and everyone wants something different) but the servers handle it like champs. Just wish they could add soup.
