Cafe Moxo

Visiting on Saturday afternoon and they were very busy due to the car show in Springfield.

Took a bit of time to get through the line due to the car show but it was well worth it.

Everyone that worked there had a good attitude, was friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Both of the sandwiches we ordered were delicious, fresh and made to order. They were also a good value for the money.

Each sandwich on the menu was very unique. This is not your a basic sandwich shop

Wow! This place is a gem! The service is friendly and efficient. I went for lunch two days in a row, and they had a large selection of salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Everything I ate was delicious! Highly recommend!

This place was amazing. The food was excellent. You line up and order off a menu board. The food is brought to your table. The line got long but moved pretty quickly. There was a farmers market right outside the door on Saturdays, so that was really nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I loved the iced tea, and the container it came in was very convenient to travel with. I had the aged white cheddar hashbrowns and the cheddar together breakfast sandwich. It was a lot of food, this is not a complaint. I did also get a rice krispie treat, I am a big fan of them, and whenever I see them I will buy one. I did not like these. They were not sweet at all. I can't really explain it, they tasted like nothing. I would go back in a heartbeat. If I am passing by Springfield, I would make a point to stop.

Was very excited to try Cafe Moxo while visiting Springfield. This restaurant came highly recommended and we were very impressed. There were GF options, which I love!
I had the tomato basil soup and a salad. Both were fresh and tasty.

I ate here while visiting friends in Springfield. The environment was great. I ordered an iced chai, which was amazing and the vegan burger, which was so nasty I couldn’t finish it. Everyone else enjoyed their food throughly. If you’re not vegan, the food is amazing. Great spot, just not for me. <3

Drove to Springfield day after Thanksgiving to see the Lincoln Museum. Spent over half hour looking for place to eat lunch. Finally found Cafe Moxo, and what a great find! Had the French Toast Ham Sandwich and the Roast Chicken Dilly(I think).Both were excellent. Along with excellent service. I couldn't recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed.

You will not find finer people at any establishment in town. For that reason alone, I would go here even if the food sucked. But it doesn’t. Everything is good, but a few highlights for me are the tomato bisque (yes, the rumors are true—I did eat a whole quart of it at one sitting.); chicken pot pie, pasta salad (why get a bag of chips with your sandwich when this is available?); ANY cookie, and the Salty Dog on ice.

We visit Chicago three times a year and Springfield is a good lunch stop along the way. We've tried other restaurants but our last time to Chicago before the pandemic we stopped here. I wish I had known about this sooner. This isn't your typical deli where they buy the bread and meats and create you a sandwich. The food, bread, cookies and soups are all homemade. The sandwich combinations are so unique. I had the clam chowder and the bacon cheddar biscuit, wow! I also had the mac and cheese as a side and it was larger than I expected. You definitely get what you pay for here. After 3 yrs I was skeptical that it would be as good as I remembered... I can't wait to go back on our next visit to Chicago.

Their baked goods are fantastic, and their Salty Dog is honestly one of the tastiest cups of coffee I've ever had.

1st time visit, nice place. Bigger than I expected on the inside! Food was delicious, && the 2 young ladies at the counter were very patient and helpful while being busy!! Turtle Mocha, The Salty Dog, and the Chedder Bacon Biscuit I threw in last minute was very yummy!! && it was a BIG + the biscuit was still warm off the plate!! Highly reccommend!! 😋😋

My mom and I are here now, we are from the quad cities, and OMFG the food is wonderful! The employees are so friendly and helped us pick out the best sandwiches, soup and salad! And they have peach iced tea that is wonderful!

One my favorite 💛 Breakfast and lunch spots! Always good service, they even brung me some gravy, when I didn't have none for my biscuits. Glad you're still OPEN please patronize this local business.

It was my first time there and it was amazing!! The staff and owner were super friendly. The food and atmosphere was incredible. There wasn't a long wait, either.

This is the best place to eat in Springfield. Amazing staff, food, and atmosphere. I get the Gobble Gobble everytime I come and it is delicious. I've never had a bad experience. 10/10

The staff is super nice. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but the man behind the counter patiently helped us pick out our food. I got a Sassy Molassy cookie, and this man hands me orange marmalade with a wink, and I’m thinking why would he give me this….weird.
LET ME TELL YOU.
Orange marmalade + molasses cookie is heavenly. This man knows what’s up!
Go. Get some coffee. Get a cookie with marmalade. Enjoy a happy day.

In town visiting a friend. One of her favorites and I loved it All! Food Staff and Atmosphere!

Seriously delicious!!!! Everything was perfect. Been dreaming about the chicken and noodles ever since I went. Loved being able to order at a table using an app.

Easily one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in Springfield. This place is a rare, slightly hidden, little favorite of mine. Never been disappointed & they give back to our community regularly. Support local ❤

Nice little Cafe. Thought it was completely different from when we searched in Maps than when we arrived but overall very happy with visit while in town. Very friendly staff. The food was delicious.
