Such a great little diner; stopped on a road trip back from Acadia and are so glad we did. The grilled blueberry muffin and breakfast BLT in particular were amazing! Sitting at the counter was so fun, get to watch all the food prepared in front of you. Will definitely be back next time we are in Portland!

If you need a diner food fix in the morning, in Portland, then you should get to Marcy's ASAP. We got the Captain Crunch French toast with all the fixings. Everybody was nice. The service was fast. Our food was scrumptious. They also have adult beverages. Look at the choice of hot sauces! Check them out.

It has been a while since I have been to this classic Old Port diner and man it’s nice to be back.
Marcy herself is gone (which some might feel is a good thing…), Mandy was friendly and wonderful to chat with between serving up orders. Not a place I was expecting to find a gluten-free option, but she was very pleased to make me a hot GF cinnamon roll (from BamBam Bakery!) with cream cheese frosting made fresh on the spot.
Will definitely be back and I look forward to bringing my kids.

Wonderful breakfast! We especially loved the home made hashbrowns and grilled(in butter) home made muffins!!! 🤤🤤. Reasonably priced and excellent food. I would definitely recommend!!

We had an awesome experience at Marcy’s Diner. From the moment you walk in the door you know this is the spot. Everyone was super friendly, the setting is very casual and the classic rock music playing was very nostalgic for us. Our server was friendly and attentive. The vast menu and prices are amazing, and the food is soooooo good. This was a top 3 all time break fast experience for both of us, can’t wait to come back.

The biggest silver dollar pancakes I've ever had! These were everything I was looking for in blueberry pancakes while traveling in Maine. All our dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The service was friendly, efficient and overall great.

Love this place! It's our favorite breakfast place in Portland, but it's intimate. Bring three friends max, but better with just one. Sit at the bar and enjoy the company of the staff ❤💛💙 You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but adding on a grilled muffin is a necessity. This last time, we sat at the bar and learned that the secret to fruit muffins or fruit pancakes is frozen fruit. Who knew!? Thanks team! We'll be back and drop all the menus this time.

Maine has a lot of great things that make it such a great place to visit. Drive-in theaters, water parks, the beaches and lakes, the numerous small towns and cities. Portland is a foodie town with restaurants that range from hole in the wall to fancy. Then there are the diners. Marcy's is one of the last true diners. Small as it may be, the food is great, the coffee is fresh, the staff are genuine and the wait is worth it. A true diner has to have the vibe, the one that welcomes anyone and leaves you feeling like you found your new favorite place. Marcy's has that vibe. It's family, it's friends, it's very cool!

Holy yummy pancakes and breakfast! Thank you Yelp for finding this gem for us lost tourists! We LOVED this place and so wish there was one in our hometown of Fort Myers Florida! There were six of us and they got us in to eat on a weekend in under 30 min… FIRST WIN. Then, the staff was fun, funny, kind and loved our kiddos! We wanted to take the entire staff home! When you travel with a 3 year old and a 7 year old it can bring out some looks and tough experiences, Macy’s treated us like regulars and my kids were so excited with the stickers they gave them! The environment is clean, artistic, energetic and WELCOMING! Now let’s get to the stuff we care about… the FOOD. We each ordered something different, pancakes, omelet, a traditional breakfast and sides for the kids. The breakfasts are HUGE and you’d think we’d have leftovers, we tried… but the food was so good not one of us did! For the price, the experience and the amount of food this place is a steal! So get in your car, grab your bike, hop on the bus and get there to check it out! Like for realz, you won’t regret it! Thank you Marcy’s for being a highlight to our vacation! Highly recommend!

It has been years since we've been to Marcys since we don't live in Maine, but it was a pleasure to return! I had 3 eggs with the corn beef hash. We also had a griddled muffin which was nicely buttered and tasted delicious!

My favorite diner in Portland! Your typical diner food, one of the best grilled blueberry muffins I’ve had. Fun, nostalgic Sunny-D mimosa. Sitting at the bar watching everyone work together and timing things right is admirable. We also witnessed a kind act from the cook - you can just tell the employees at Marcy’s are good people who make good food!

Totally worth the wait, they don't take phone numbers so don't go far, we waited like 20min. Best hash browns ever!! Amazing omelette and yummy pancakes!

Great food-I informed them of my allergies (gluten and dairy) and they were very accommodating. Good vibes, the crew seemed to really work well together and were very nice. There is some wait time, but 100% worth the wait it. Good sized portions!

It’s fairly small but has character. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We had breakfast and our food was delicious. If you like blueberries get a blueberry muffin grilled. They have daily specials. Highly recommend.

Great food! It is a small joint, hosting comfort and honest breakfast offereings. The staff were plenty and kind. The captain crunch french toast and muffins were awesome. The pancackes weren't too bad either and you get an open view of the folks slinging the goods at the grill. I 100% would have went back if they were open. The pricing isn't bad either.

Loved this place. I visited from upstate Ny, and was looking forward to try the blueberries. I had the muffin (toasted) and the pancake. The local maple syrup was incredible. My friend had the Hobo hashbrowns and loved it too. Jacob was very friendly and polite. I ordered a BLT wrap to go for later and the amount of bacon they put on it was amazing. Great atmosphere. A short walk from the Westin even in the snow :). Keep the good work!

Soo I have been very loyal to Becky’s for many years. I was not aware she had a sister…hehe and well , Marcy is definitely a rival. Both are fabulous Portland diners. Marcy’s honestly had a slight edge in the food quality. Both are excellent but I thought at least on this day Marcy’s was just a little better.

We dined here at our first stop in Portland. Service and atmosphere was great. Yummy breakfast sandwiches and blueberry pancakes. We brought our own clip on high chair for our daughter as the only option I saw was a booster seat. They were sweet and brought her some crayons.
