Nocturnem Draft Haus

Was visiting ME for the 1st time from IA between 4/5/24 - 4/7/24. Flew into Bangor the brewery hop around the area consisting of: Bangor, Brewer & Orono. Stopped at this tap house 12 hours before my flight. Only IA brewery sticker seen in the local area, even if it was inside their toilet.

Best wings ever. Best kitchen staff ever. The guys in the kitchen are fun and wonderful. When the cook tells you to try the new poached burger, well…he would know, right? So glad we followed his advice. Wings and a burger- great way to kick off the weekend.

A neat bar and grill, local talent singing and great food. The Cubano was 🤌🏻

My wife and I hit up Nocturnem 1-2 times per month. Beer list is fantastic, and the rotation makes it worthwhile to keep coming back. Service is almost always impeccable, and the wait staff are super friendly and fun. The atmosphere and general vibe of the place are also huge bonuses; sometimes it's nice to just be around a bunch of adults (it doesn't hurt that the staff's music taste is on point).

The only reason I gave 4 stars for food was because of limited menu. Nocturnem has a smaller kitchen, but they absolutely get the most out of it. Their food is delicious. Like I said, only reason it's not a five for food is because of variety.

If you come to Bangor and don't stop in to Nocturnem, I question your life choices.

The food and service are both fantastic! My son and I agreed that this was the best burger we ever had! Everything we ordered was delicious.

Fantastic food, a warm and cozy atmosphere, and great drinks: the perfect combination for a great night out! Our server was an absolute sweetheart and very attentive. Highly recommend this place! P.S. the mac and cheese was incredible!

I loved everything about this place. I cannot speak to the wait staff as I sat at the bar. Both the bartenders were energetic and knew what they were talking about with the food and the beer.

I wanted to lick the piping hot small cast iron pan that dessert was served in.

Very cool spot. Great beer selection and the food is amazing. Service is was great. If you like constancy on quality and service definitely recommend.

Great beer, great stage, 14 rotating taps with lots of bottles. Short but delicious food menu. Mostly pub fair, but on a different level.

We tried Nocturnem for the very first time last night and our server was awesome. She was very attentive and friendly. (I believe her name was Jasmine) The food was great. Our only complaint was the table full of catty immature girls who thought it was funny to talk nasty about one of the waitresses the whole time they were there. Customers like that ruin it for everyone. Hubby and I will be back again for sure next time we come to Maine. We loved everyone working. What an awesome bunch.

Great place. We were on Bangor, MA visiting Stephen King’s inspiration places. And walking around saw this place. From outside invited us to enter. Great staff and the atmosphere is incredible.

Great night. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend the street tacos. Beer was great too. Huge selection of beer. Staff was great.

Loved it! Great food and drinks. Great customer service. Loved the potato skins and the chicken wings and the haus of the rising sun drink is something I could sip on all summer long.

Really cool german draft house! AMAZING selection of spirits, maybe the largest ive seen including tons of beers, ciders, wines, etc. Food menu is somewhat small but the options they do have are amazing. Definitely recommend the mac and cheese, but the cuban sandwich is the best I've had outside of Miami. Have them grill it for you for that little extra flavor and authenticity.

Pretty awesome place! Wide variety of food. And it's not the "typical" stuff. Unique dishes here. All very tasty. Large selection of drinks. Great service. Decent prices. Would definitely recommend.

The burgers are AMAZING! So many local choices for beverages too! I also appreciate them having mocktails on offer.
