Well i love there vegitarian subs taists amazing and pritty good where they are right up the road they are a good store very polite and friendly staff and a good variety of stuff just missing maybe a small screwdriver set maybe a small vice grips or skmething other then that its a nice store

It's Ghetto Betters. If your from Bangor & familiar with the area you know chances are pretty good you'll make it out without an issue. Especially during daylight hours. Lol, be sure to ask them about there Natty, Ghetto Betters T, shirt. Downtown Bangor. Its the new 70's Old Capehart. Full of character & all known characters. Great staff.

Some neighborhood history. Went in after about 20 year last week. Amazing.. same faces. Was like I ordered my ham Italian just last night lol. But I was tired and not hungry so I didn't get one even though Scott offered to make me one. I love old store. Lots of memories. Was nice seeing Butch again too... nice memory old man. ❤

Beatbox are looking good in the store. Could you guys try and get the new flavor the hard tea beatbox it’s really good

Don't judge a book by its cover truly applies here. The deli makes great sandwiches and Scott Ledbetter is THE MAN! I always come here for coffee and adult essentials.

Grew up in this neighborhood. Neighborhood can be dangerous at times, but I've always felt safe at Leadbetter's. Staff has always been welcoming.

They have great chowda with a dash of genuity topped with empathy and compassion when needed.

Ghetto-Betters is defiantly in the Ghetto of Bangor, hence the nickname known by the people of Bangor. Have to say, if you want some entertainment some nights.....it's the place to stop in for your on the run quick pick me ups. In all honesty this place isn't that bad. I'v defiantly been to sketchier places and not to mention there sandwich's kick butt...so well worth the sketch factor.

They all chat with me ask me how I'm doing just all around really good people

Cheap place for booze, anyone who says its a sketchy area has probably never visited a Major City... it's very safe even late at night, and I know because I used to walk by this place every single night between 10 - 1AM due to my work schedule
