Even if you don't buy anything, this place is like a curiosities shop. It's fascinating! They have a lot of things from plants to taxidermy animals. It was awesome and I will definitely come back.

Coolest place to shop! The gemstones and fossils are well priced, and they have the cutest wildlife-themed notebooks + prints + stickers + decor. I got a megalodon tooth for just $10 🦈 & it’s fun to just walk around and take in all the plants, bones, and oddities.

Amazing store, friendly owners/sales clerks! Very helpful and knowledgeable! Very enjoyable experience. Not a boutique you just pop in to... you must take the time to stroll around as there is so much to see! Absolutely Loved it ... recommend 💯!

A cute shop to check out. They have a wide selection of gifts, oddities, jewelry and more. A great place to treat yourself or a friend. You'll always find something you didn't know you needed.

Very kind workers, a beautiful selection of crystals and stones, tons of generally unique items such as butterfly taxidermy and can't forget a great selection of unique houseplants! Overall great prices too, I try to come here once every few months. Simply the best!

Really neat little shop, like a modern day apothecary. Cool specimens like skulls, bones, insects, shells, crystals.. Plus a variety of other things from stationary to kitchen to perfume.

Great rock and art shop with lots of small gifts as well as larger beautiful things to add joy to you day. Will definitely return for several things that I think are perfect for friends.

The Rock and Art Shop is one of my favorite businesses in Bangor. I visit several times a year, and almost always end up buying something. There is a lot of product variety, and even on a budget, you're sure to find something unique here.

Loved all the rocks and fossils this store had. Was very surprised at how busy it was but it is a testament to the great selection they have. There are so many things to look at and purchase. If your in Bangor you have to stop in at this great local store.

Hands down the most hip and trendy place to shop in all of Bangor. Where its name implies it sells just rocks and art, there is actually so much more! Puzzles, weird hipster paper weights, pretty journals, and cool little umbrellas with ducks on them.

truly my favorite store of all time. Went to school at umaine and always frequented this store because it was nearby and cute and I love fun things. I constantly try to find similar stores (I have lived/travelled all over the country at this point) and the rock and art shop is truly and consistently the best gift shop, I’ve never found anything to replace it. Whenever I’m in maine I go and add to my collection of fun earrings and rocks. Love it here 💐✨

They always have the coolest stuff. Rocks, necklaces, random bones, and a few other fun options to explore! A place everyone should go once and probably go back for more.
