Possibly the best men's clothing shop in town. The quality is top-notch and the service is unparalleled. The best place in the twin cities to get a pair of jeans!

Stopped in because the store looked cool. Bought a pair of jeans there not knowing anything about raw denim but Grayson helped me out a ton on a busy Saturday and showed me why the jeans were superior to anything I currently own. Love the jeans and I will be back to buy more, I think I'm addicted to this style now.

The shop has a really great selection of well made clothing and accessories, like their custom Saint Paul Ebbets Field hat that I purchased when I moved here. The store has a great ambiance and a friendly staff. It's nice to be able to shop at a physical location this day and age where everything is going online. So glad to have a shop like this in my city.

Just experienced a first-class shopping experience over at BlackBlue. I have been frustrated with the big brand stores with terrible customer service and no inventory! On a recommendation from my son, gave BlackBlue a go for some jeans. Phenomenal customer service that I thought was forever lost!! Sales associate Grayson was patient and extremely knowledgeable of the jean inventory and help me navigate a great fit with high quality jeans. Highly recomend BlackBlue !!!!

Steve is incredibly helpful and has a great collection of clothes available. I've only shopped here a couple times so far, but for higher end men's fashion BlackBlue is a great store. It has quickly become one of my favorites in the Twin Cities.

This is one of (if not the) the best men’s clothing store in Minnesota. Everything is of the highest quality and they know their stuff. Many of my favorite items of clothing have come from here.

I love this amazing place. Real privilege to have in St. Paul; no place else in Minnesota has anything even close to BlackBlue's smartly curated selection of updated classic and modern clothing for men. Prices are on higher side for StP Mpls area and the quality and design is second to none. Whatever you buy here you'll want to wear for a long time so it's a good investment... and it will continue to look great for years.

The owner is very welcoming...you can ask him anything about clothing and quickly realize that he's an expert. His friendly albeit professional demeanor puts one instantly at ease and invites your prolonged and relaxed browsing in the store.

Bought a pair of raw denim jeans here, the man working was very helpful. He helped figure out the style and size of jeans I wore. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for some good raw denim or cool shirts to check this place out!

BlackBlue is one of the best curators of menswear I have found. The fact that they are a brick and mortar store in my neighborhood is something I won't take for granted.
Known as THE place in town for raw denim, they have plenty else in store to add some solid threads to your whole wardrobe. Super cool, laid back atmosphere, which I think is easily reflected in their clothing. The guys definitely know their stuff and are very helpful.
Prices range on the higher side, so be warned, but imo they are fairly priced for what you are getting. Many Made in USA, Japan, and Europe garments that you'd have a hard time finding anywhere in the U.S. If you are of the "quality over quantity" mindset, then this place is for you. Well worth your time to check out!

Absolutely the best place to buy quality denim in the state and quite possibly the upper Midwest. The selection is great but more importantly they have denim junkies that can talk about the pros and cons of various brands and make sure you can get something that fits well. I particularly enjoyed learning about the nuances of high end denim, though it definitely pays to do a little reading ahead of time so terms like selvage and sanforized don’t seem quite so alien. Definitely not an inexpensive place but with nothing but high quality products that will last the test of time it you are going to get a ton of longevity. Due yourself a favor and check this place out! I’ve purchased two pairs of denim so far and I couldn’t be happier!

Great shop. Wide selection for a small place... For any place for that matter. Pieces you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else in the Twin Cities. Their broad selection of Barbour coats, Red Wing boots, Schott jackets, and raw denim really stand out.

BlackBlue is truly a rare find. My favorite clothing store in Minnesota, perhaps favorite I've ever found. It is a meticulously tailored aggregator of extremely high quality men's clothing. Every time I'm in Minnesota I make an explicit point to stop in, usually leaving with a lighter wallet (though every penny is worth it). BlackBlue's "style" varies but always with a emphasis on craft, quality and uniqueness. Many of my best wardrobe pieces, the ones I actually get complimented on, are from here and I often hear myself telling people: "Yeah, I got it in Minnesota at a great little store... BlackBlue, yeah... it's really, really amazing... you should fly to Minnesota and go there."

Besides the inventory, Ryan the Store Manager is an extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful figure who has been consistently wonderful for the past 3 or 4 years I've loved BlackBlue. I am always so happy to walk in, see his smile and shake his hand. He is so energetic in helping me find what I want, at the best price, offering all sorts of suggestions that a real friend of mine might give (a human being rather than the usual corporate nametag). Ryan's continued presence and enthusiasm really has been the key for me. So many stores feel like white-washed, emotionless alters to consumption and commercialism - not so with BlackBlue. These are real people with real, interesting ideas about clothing and style. I trust them. I trust their taste and I trust their compassion. And that's why I now recommend them to you.

Staff go above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for. This is higher end clothing so you really have to know what you want or be open suggestions of the staff. The clothing is of the finest quality. In some cases your buying heirloom clothing that could last 20-30 years.

Quite simply the best place in the Twin Cities to buy a pair of denim as they source the finest selvedge denim brands from around the world.

I can't wait to loose my pants just so I can go here and buy a new pair of jeans. The staff are great, know their stuff and willing to humor you if you want to spend alot of money. Just good quality clothes and accessories meant to last. Not alot of things, just the right things.

Best shop in Minnesota to find high end French and American heritage brands that are usually only available in vintage shops in NY and LA. They have a great selection of brands and very helpful in educating the customer regarding this.
