LivINN Hotel Minneapolis North/Fridley

I was only here once to visit some friends from out of town. The hotel was nice but it's set up is very odd. The room was nice but just seemed off in the way it was set up. Breakfast started at a decent time, but the area to get food was smaller than adequate for a hotel its size and didn't really have a flow to it. I feel it's should guide people, but it gave off more of a circle the island type flow. It's not a bad place, just weird to someone who pays too much attention to stuff.

This place is a consistent 5-star spot in my book. I've stayed here before, and lately, several close friends and family members have also frequented this place. The staff here consistently impress me with their professionalism and respect. They handle any issues smoothly and have pleasantly surprised me with their calm and understanding response to a situation that wasn't their fault.
Aside from the fantastic staff, the continental breakfast is a must-try! My loved ones absolutely adore the biscuits and gravy. They offer an extensive spread, including toast, bagels, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, a variety of juices, milk, fruits, and yogurt. It's a feast worth experiencing during your stay here!

Just needed a no-frills place to stay overnight while I attended a concert. Location and price were what attracted me. Staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and check out experience was quick and painless.

This was by far the best hotel that I have been in in a while. The front desk people were so nice and pleasant, The rooms were very clean, And I just love the ambiance. And what was a plus for me was that they Had a smoking section for smokers, and it was so comfortable. There was nothing I did not like about this hotel it was great. I was even told by one of my guests that stayed at the Hilton that it was better than the Hilton. From the time I walked in there to the time I left. It was so welcoming. If I could give it ten stars, I would. I would definitely be returning. I was definitely a happy camper. But one thing I will suggest is that they put heating lamps in the smoking section.

Such a great hotel - the gorgeous courtyard really changes the hotel experience, it's such a good place to work on stuff or relax. Spacious rooms, quiet hallways, great breakfast and gym.

The rooms are nothing super fancy, but we were in town for a quick overnight trip so we didn't need/want anything super fancy or expensive. The floors seemed to be a bit damp on our room. Not sure if this was due to recent humidity or maybe they had been recently cleaned. It did not effect our stay at all....we are shoe wearers in hotels :) The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast variety was great. Not to mention the beautiful area to eat in! The price was great and the location perfect for every where we needed to go. The rooms were also very quiet!

Very clean and cozy stay, loved the breakfast and lounge area! Very stress free and reasonable to stay at! Will come again!

Loved it. The shower was huge and the room was great and very big and had everything. If I have to stay in Minneapolis again this will be my first choice

Rooms are large, quiet and staff is wonderful. Breakfast is very good. 15 minutes straight up Central Avenue leaving downtown via Hennepin. Thank you for a great stay.

Upon arrival, this was a hotel unlike any other that we've been to. Hallways were really wide, and the center courtyard was a neat feature.
The location was perfect for our stay, as everything we could have needed was near-by.
Staff was very courteous.
Our room smelled as if the carpets were just cleaned, so that was nice. Being able to walk in the room and not have to worry about our feet sticking to the carpet was another surprise.
Would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

If this hotel is within 15 minutes of your destination, then STAY HERE! You aren't going to find a better value in the area.
There is a nice freshly cooked breakfast included with the room, a pleasant courtyard/dining area, and the room itself was quiet, spacious and clean.
The staff was knowledgeable, polite and well spoken. This will be my go-to when visiting the Twin Cites.

Great value. 20 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis. Surprisingly comfortable beds! Got 3 great nights of sleep. Hot breakfast also wonderful. All staff were friendly and helpful. Only cons were our fridge and room safe didn't work. But would definitely stay again.

This is a hidden gem! My husband and I love this home away from home. Buffet breakfast 7 days a week and front desk will bake you a lotsa Mozzarella pizza hit and fresh instead of waiting for a local pizza chain to deliver. The center atrium is beautiful for walking or relaxing. On site laundry. Great team of employees. The room is clean, beautiful and such a comfortable bed!

I went to this hotel this past Friday on April 21, 2023. I ended up at this hotel because of some problems(that were not fault) that I had with another hotel. When my daughter and I arrived to the LivINN Hotel Minneapolis North Fridley, MN location we were greeted with a warm welcome by Jerome. Jerome was very polite, professional, sweet and accommodating! I booked with Priceline and they had given me a king room as an option. The room hadn't been cleaned just yet since we had arrived early prior to check-in time. Instead of having us wait, Jerome offered us a different room which I was grateful for. On the other hand, if I could give this hotel 100 stars I would! It was very clean, up to date, the employees were really sweet and welcoming, breakfast was really good and they have a really nice sitting area. The only thing I don't like is that they do not have a pool, but other than that we enjoyed our stay and was very happy that we chose this Hotel.
