John Fluevog Shoes Minneapolis

I love this shoe store so much that now when I walk by I have to turn the other way because if I look in the window I will want to stop in and buy shoes that probably don’t need. What I love is the flamboyant styles coupled with exceptional customer service. EXCEPTIONAL! One time when I was trying on a pair the woman helping me noticed my old pair of Fluevogs and rightfully declared that they were in need of some love. She took the time to clean and polish them and sent me home with several pairs of fresh laces to always keep my shoes looking great! I should also point out that Fluevog shoes really last, even if they’re grungy on the outside they hold up great, as opposed to Aldo shoes where the soles fall off after 6 weeks.

Vancouver based John Fluevog is a genius who has managed to turn the cobbler's craft into an art form.

This shop was crafted with the shoe lover in mind - with seating benches built in around the periphery and an island populated with quirky and colorful shoes and boots for both women and men. Come in for a chat with the wonderful sales people and to feast your eyes on a full menu of colors and styles.

While challenging, it is still occasionally possible to find free parking in the streets surrounding the uptown area. Pay ramps and lots are available within a one block radius of the shop.

Layaway is accepted.

Love the shoes, the brand, and the people! The only reason I ever go to uptown is when I need to treat myself to some cool new shoes, and so grateful that I can go into their store to try on even if I've done my research on their website.

Jamie, the store manager, chatted with me online and helped me out far more than corporate did. She helped me pick out a pair of shoes that would be great for my brother--a rather picky guy. She took the time to ask all the right questions and then offered to ship them in time for Christmas. I will certainly be calling Jamie back in Minnesota even though there is a Fluevog store within an hour from me. Thanks, Jamie!
