Great neighborhood liquor store in the uptown/lakes area of south Minneapolis. Remodeled store and great wine selection. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Staff are amazing. They really care about you. Prices arent too bad, overall, a good place to get your booze.

Ever since moving to Uptown 6 years ago I have enjoyed coming to this store. The employees are always helpful and non-intrusive. Small store but has everything one would need. Very welcoming and LGBTQ Friendly.

Lacking selection of smirnoff, mikes hard lemonade, and wine coolers of that sort. Good stock of beer. Mini liquor bottles are the best. I recommended this place for the service they pulled from the back of the store for me. Cashier asks for ID, and if your quick they are friendly to customers. Descide what you want before you go in and they direct you precisely where your goods are in isle. Don't forget a tip or give extra change for thier efforts. Great store. They bag well too. Enjoy shopping!

Friendly staff make a difference!

After making a small purchase I was contacted with a friend to get something else. The team here processed my return and exchange with no questions and even gift wrapped the wine I swapped in for no cost. The staff (multiple people helped me out) are quite friendly and familiar with the store they work in and deserve a good rating.

I just sat in my car by the liquor store and watched all the people stumbling into the store and stumbling out on a Monday at that..big city life! That was me all the time… now I watch Others However my little story has no reflection on the actual liquor store it’s actually quite lovely and well put together and the staff is nice

Love it! Cash or check is sweet! All the hatters complaining they can’t use their credit or debit cards. Think about it! You need to think about the savings passed on and the fact that this place is holding its own and it is one of the only places that are standing up to the CC companies for their fees. 3-10% tacked on to every purchase for everyone because you can’t pay with cash. Get real an stop being a selfish complainer. Stop mentioning it to them at the counter too, they are aware of it and they don’t do it for a reason.

Great Wine selection, I always grab a bottle on my way out through the stacks of booze.

I’ve never had bad service, in fact the opposite. I’ve always had someone around I could ask a question an the checkout has always been fast and friendly.

Great neighborhood liquor store. Do not let the smaller footprint fool you as they have an excellent selection of everything from beer, liquor and wine. Wine reps on premises to assist in your selection and they really know their industry! Give them a visit and you will be pleased.

I've been going here for years, but have relied on their curbside pickup during the Covid19 pandemic. They are so helpful, friendly and fast. Ready in about five minutes. Nick and Chris are two names I remember as extremely kind and helpful, although everyone else is the just as nice. People work here for a long time, so my guess is they are treated well by the owner/employer. It shows. Fair prices too. Thank you HLLS!

Theyve got a great selection, with good prices. I can generally find a bomber of something special, to go with whatever whiskey I'm picking up. Its also conveniently located, has parking, and the staff are friendly.

I like the people working here and their selection of bourbon. Wish they wouldn’t have been repeatedly looted. Great spot and they don’t jack up the elusive bourbon prices like other stores. Xoxo

This is where to go if you're Uptown, no frills, no bs,just booze and an awesome staff. The selection of wines caters to the newbie as well as the afficinado at the lowest prices in town, same with beer, same with spirits. That's what a liquor store is supposed to do, right? What's also nice is the price point, expect to see at least a $3 difference in your favorite beverage against competing area spirit shops. Can't miss the location, but they close early, best advice go before 7pm to be safe. Don't want to spend alot but get that you want and look like you did... here you go.

It’s a liquor store that has moonshine! I went two two other stores after having to do a google search for stores that had it, which they didn't have any. But I walked right in this store a rep asked if we needed anything special today and I asked for moonshine and the dude was so nice! Easy peasy in and out experience, just the way I like it.

Stopped here in a pinch to get some beer. Found everything I needed and made a quick exit. Got a wave on the way in so that's 5 stars from me!

Good service and decent selection, they are a little cheaper than the other small shops and the atmosphere is a lot better than bigger shops. Go here before you go to MGM or Chi-Lake for sure.
