Ever scroll through something and go heyyyyy I haven't been there in a long time! That's what happened when I was looking for take-out. As I remembered the food was so fresh and well prepared with a good quantity. The food is well seasoned. The gentleman was kind on the phone and happily included the paper menu I asked for. I'm old school, I like looking at them. The location is tucked out of the way in one of the little strip mall sections on Rte 9/Loudon Road. Thank you for dinner and plenty of leftovers for lunch!

My favorite place to order take out when I’m feeling lazy. Food is always piping hot and well seasoned. Super affordable too. Best Chinese take out in the capital district hands down!!! My only suggestion is that the crab rangoons could use a little more filling.

Live in the area and have driven by J's hundreds of times.. ordered last week and it was very good. Fresh, hot, excellent flavor and good prices... my new go-to!!

One of the best Chinese take-out around! It is always hot and fresh and we have not found something that we do not like! I love spice, and their version of spicy is really spicy! Great food!

Ordered the Beef and Broccoli, A shrimp fried rice, pepper steak, and a handful of other options. Its always a great place to get Chinese food, the portions are generous, its always burning hot, and it tastes great. I've ordered enough they recognize my number and toss in free drinks, they're a wonderful family owned place 😃 !!

Take out Chinese food place and Google is asking me to rate atmosphere 🤣. Seems inappropriate.

Regardless I have lived in Albany for 8 months and I have been lamenting about how terrible take-out Chinese food is around here. This place is a bit far from where I live in downtown Albany. It's about 7.5 miles but it's location is one of those weird areas that are somehow further away mileage wise but quicker to get to time wise and it's like a 10/15 minute trip. It's definitely worth making the trip when you're hankering for Chinese food because it is miles better than any other place I've tried.

Their food is great. The portions are too. And their prices even seem to be better than other places in the area.

I've been to this place since it first opened, almost 9 years now and I still goes to them whenever I want chinese food. They really are the best in the area, always greeted with a smile when I come in, all nice people. I recommended this place to my friends and they all love it!!

First time trying j's kitchen and it was very very good the best I've had in a long time. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the broccoli as well. I asked for extra spicy and it was exactly that!! The spicy seaweed salad was great as well! I would definitely go back to try other dishes

They never disappoint. Best Chinese food I’ve had in the capital region. I refuse to order from anywhere else. The food is always hot and fresh even with delivery! Highly recommend!! Worth every penny!

We've ordered out from here a few times now and have found all the food we have gotten to be hot and tasty and haven't been disappointed with anything we've ordered yet. The food is always on time and good priced and we will definitely keep ordering take out from here when we want good Chinese food and sushi.

Best Chinese food in the 518. Don't order your food spicy tho! Most places I order 'very very spicy' and it's not anywhere near spicy enough. This place i order it a little spicy and it's still so spicy I break a sweat. That's what makes this place so awesome tho!!! I asked them and they said they use a way higher quality pepper mix to spice their food. My chef friend agreed and said the spice they use is actually extremely expensive hense why it's so strong and not found at other restaurants. Definitely worth a try.

Not a single bad thing to say about this place! The food was delicious, chicken nice and crispy, great rice, containers stuffed to the max. They got the order correct even with a substitution and followed delivery notes exactly. The employee was quick and most importantly, KIND. This is the only Asian takeout place in Albany I will be ordering from.

They make an incredible shrimp garlic sauce meal. I went back a little week later for another one.

I have ordered for both delivery and take out; lunch and dinner. Each experience was excellent! Food was hot and delicious. I recommend!!

Discovered this AMAZING place by accident and have been back within a week.. the Mango Chicken to DIE FOR!! The butter chicken THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD... by far my most favorite in ALL of the Capital Region! Do not miss this... the flavors are unbeatable! It should get 10 stars
