It’s a fair! Meets expectations. Entry prices keep getting higher, but it’s not too bad. Certain ages are free. Lots of different food vendors this year. Decent amount of places to sit compared to other fairs I’ve been to. Ride tickets are comparable to similar events. Lots for kids to do… animals to see, farm equipment to explore, etc. Handicapped parking area is paved… the rest is dirt and you better know what you’re getting into so you can get out! But that’s standard for most fairs.

It was our first time with my family coming to Lorain County Fair and we had a great time! Our daughter had fun seeing different animals. We will definitely coming back next year and do this as our annual fair place to go.

We go every year and it's always a fun time. They didn't seem to have as many horses this year, unfortunately. A lot of vendors, food stands are a little bit pricey, but I usually get a chicken sandwich from the Henrietta United Methodist Church booth every year. Their prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. Then before we leave, we get a dozen donuts from the Wellington Band Boosters and they are AWESOME!! There's plenty of kiddy rides and games too. Entertainment and stuff going on every night at the main grandstand/track, like concerts, combine and demo derbies, etc. Plus, you get to see the projects that the kids in 4-H work very hard on every year. We really enjoy it.

Always a great time. The horse barns seem like they're getting smaller, unfortunately. I go to look at the horses mostly and hope to find one that's being sold. But, it doesn't seem like there's as many horses anymore, like there used to be. Prices continue to rise every year for admission, food, etc, but that seems to be the norm for everything these days. Still a nice way to spend the day with family or friends outside, looking at animals and projects that the 4-Hers work very hard on all year. It rained on us twice today, but it was still fun. Got to look into some companies that were there for services I'm going to need in the near future because I just bought a house. We always have a nice time.

Love the Lorain County Fair! Have been going for over 14 years now and still enjoy it very much. We used to do 4H for 7 years with the kids and would camp out there which is a different experience altogether. It's still a decent price, only $6 per person, and you can park relatively close to the front entrance in quite a few independent lots for only $5. My advice.. spend the $5 & park closer. Animal barns are right there when you walk in and it's so much easier to have a shorter walk to your car on the way out. Food is a little more expensive but not ridiculous. Great barns if you go all the way to the back...Bee Barn and the Blacksmithing Barn a must see. All in all a great time at not outrageous prices.

My family had a blast, the bracelet for unlimited rides is worth it if you plan to be there more than an hour. Amazing food trucks and Vendors, really made Lorain proud.

Visited for the 1st time. Went to see The Guess Who and they put on a Great performance. Walked around the fair and was impressed to see the variety of vendors and food trucks, especially loved the honey waffles, Mike's Tacos and Wellington doughnuts!! Looking forward to coming back to explore more.

We went for the derby. The whole family had a good time. They shrunk the arena to make more room for seats. Didn't ruin it but didn't leave enough room for the combines to all run together. But we sat on the ground level and it wasn't bad at all.

August 25th. Loved the fair! Free senior day. Saw the Budweiser Team unload the three semi's of Clydesdales, got to ask many questions. Was really up close to the team! Lorain County Tractor pull was pretty cool also.

The fair was packed full of all kinds of stuff. Cows, rabbits, got hogs. Rides, vendors, and loads and loads of people. Of course a special thanks from this patron and his friends to the local police and sheriffs for keeping the event safe.
