What a nice hidden park!! The waterfall is so peaceful and the creek following is too. Decent trails. Love the dirt road to get to the park. Can’t wait to visit in spring! Although I do prefer winter walks (: Well kept!

This is such a magical place. I've had some of the most profound experiences in this location. You forget that you're in Ohio and feel like you've been whisked away somewhere in the mountains. Highly recommend.

A beautifully rustic house in a beautiful setting! Trails to explore nearby, with a stream meandering through the woods, small waterfalls. Great place to reset, recharge!

This is such a cool Geauga Park district facility. Tucked way back in the woods perfect for a private get together any time of year. Snowshoeing in the winter, hiking in the Fall, Spring or Summer. Soooo quiet!

My last actual visit was before they updated, and it is simply BEAUTIFUL. The building itself is lovely, and the setting is just incredible. You will feel literally "off in the woods" and very much a part of the nature which surrounds you.

Affelder Falls flows spectacularly in the spring and runs gently the rest of the year. It is near the Affelder Cabin, a rentable acoommodation operated by the Geauga Park District, which is open by reservation only. The area supports a fishing pond and many varieties of wild plants call the area home. A trail nearby links the area to the rest of The West Woods with its Nature Center.

Very secluded. Great walking trails. Extremely LONG one lane driveway. This is the place to be to be one with nature.
