Back in Action Therapy of Las Cruces

The staff at this facility more than met my expectations. They were competent, caring, professional and friendly. Kendra and Isaiah were knowledgeable and fun to work with. They were always willing to answer my questions and encourage me. Leticia at the front desk can light up your day with her smile and she does her job with professionalism. Exceptional experience at Back in Action! (I’ve been to most PT facilities in Las Cruces care-giving for my late husband).

My Primary Care Physician (PCP) prescribed 10 weeks (twice a week - after testing negative for blood clots) of Physical Therapy for stabbing, burning pain in my right thigh that was debilitating and keeping me awake at night. I’m 77 years old.

Dr Kendra Terrazas performed a thorough examination/evaluation on December 6, 2023. Front office staff was very efficient in getting approval from my medical insurance, coordinating with my PCP, and scheduling in accordance with Dr Kendra’s instructions.

All appointments were professional, well documented and on-time. Special care was taken to make me feel comfortable and safe. Isaiah the technician assisted, encouraged, applauded and even made it fun. Each stretch and exercise was explained and demonstrated.

The atmosphere was pleasant for all patients and therapists. Cleanliness and disinfecting was priority. Appropriate music and TV was available. The latest equipment and machines were excellent.

I was provided an illustrated HOME exercise document each visit to further my therapy. I can’t stress this more emphatically that continuing the Therapy at HOME as directed is ESSENTIAL.

I was discharged February 21st 2024 after a release reevaluation !!!PAIN FREE!!! and with MANY side advantages to this Therapy experience. I am able to sleep through the night, my balance, endurance and posture have improved as well as muscle tone, stronger knees, weight loss and even less bladder leaks. And best of all I’ve made new friends.

I thought I was going to dislike the drudgery of having to go to PT twice a week but even though this facility is far from my home, I eventually looked forward to it… not the number of reps Dr Kendra kept increasing or the sweat and difficulty of each new exercise, but the improvement overall in my heath. It has been worth it!

I highly recommend Back in Action Physical Therapy. My plan is to continue with all I learned and continue with personal PT three times each week.

Kendra and Isaiah are excellent physical therapists. They were able to help me get my lower back and core in shape so I no longer had pain. Leticia the receptionist/scheduler is friendly and helpful. If I ever need physical therapy again, I'll definitely choose them!

I am in the middle of my therapy and can honestly say that Kendra and Isaiah have done an incredible job in helping me feel better than I have in a very long time. I tease them for being slave drivers but they know my limits and only push me to that limit. I am very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness each session. The staff at Back in Action Therapy are great! Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and always respectful, especially Mike Gurule and Mando Villescas. I have had knee pain for over two years and finally have hope it will be resolved, thanks to my therapist Mike, and his assistant Mando. Mike was able to pinpoint exactly what was causing my pain, which no one had been able to do before, and he explained the course of action needed to get me back on track. They are attentive and always ready to help or answer any questions I may have about the workouts or my knee. I highly recommend Back in Action PT. The staff is amazing and they work one on one. I have been to two other places with no results. I’m making great strides here. Kendra and Isaiah are who I work with. Kendra really knows what she is doing and my progress is really improving. Isaiah is her helper and he keeps you on task while laughing. They are both knowledgeable, efficient and fun. You leave feeling better and knowing you got a good workout. The music is good also. Leticia is wonderful at the front desk. She is always welcoming when you come in and so organized. Give them a try. I think they’re the best!

Kendra and Isaiah at Back in Action really made my visits very enjoyable and just had an overall great experience. Kendra explained how to effectively work through my pain and discomfort … and Isaiah really pushed me and helped with encouragement on getting those movements done correctly. I can't tell you how grateful I am to Kendra for all of her help through my recovery from rotator cuff surgery. She was very knowledgeable, encouraging, and supportive. Back in Action Therapy you should definitely give her a raise!!

Kendra is an outstanding therapist! I have been getting PT from her for my lower back pain. I have been to other therapists, chiropractors, and pain management specialists; and no one has come close to assisting me with my pain the way Kendra has done for me. And she gives me exercises to do at home, which I do each and everyday! She inspires me to keep up with my daily therapy.

Her assistant, Isaiah, is super-awesome too! I think Kendra is inspiring him to become a physicial therapist. The two of them make such a good team; and Isaiah is so fun to tease -- he takes it all in stride -- so my therapy is much more relaxed with these two. They do take their therapy with their clients, seriously; but a sense of humor helps make for a relaxed atmosphere!

And then Letiticia pulls the entire office together for a very cohesive environment. She is so kind and patient with the patients; and in the service industry, this is often lacking these days. But not with Letiticia at Back in Action -- kudos to her!

Kendra is a very attentive and knowledgeable therapist who makes my visits enjoyable and stress free. She listens to my concerns and structures my therapy to address them which has helped me get better. It is a pleasure working with her to meet my goals

Kendra and Isiah provide the most helpful physical therapy experience one could wish for. They are knowledgeable and always offer plenty of encouragement in a relaxed atmosphere.
