I must confess that I am in love with this place. If you have visited the old continent you will feel that you have been transported there.
The service is top-notch, and the food has pleasant flavors for the most demanding palates.
This restaurant is hidden in a place that no one would see and is exclusive only for wine and flavor connoisseurs.

This place is really a hidden gem. Their food is so delicious and their service is great as well. Their Chicken Piccata was great. We'll definitely go back again.

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the rack of lamb at Idylwood Grill, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary masterpiece! If you're a lamb lover, this dish is an absolute must-try.

The rack of lamb at Idylwood Grill was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Each bite was a delightful explosion of savory goodness. The chef's expertise in preparing lamb shone through, showcasing their culinary prowess.

Not only was the lamb itself exceptional, but the accompanying flavors and presentation elevated the dish to new heights. The seasonings were expertly balanced, enhancing the natural taste of the lamb without overpowering it. The dish was beautifully plated, adding an element of sophistication and visual appeal.

The service at Idylwood Grill was impeccable, as always. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and passionate about their craft. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional.

Btw the duck was great too but I’m a huge lamb fan :)

This is a very unassuming restaurant tucked away in an old shopping center. Doesn't look like much inside or out, but the food is fabulous. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, from appetizers to desserts. Wonderful wine list. The tables are well spaced for comfort and privacy the atmosphere is relaxed, and you never feel rushed. There is no kid's menu. Opened for dinner only.

My husband and I came here for the first time, the owner Hedi was absolutely delightful! The food was incredible and he suggested some of the best Riesling I have had in a while. I had the saffron risotto and lamb shank, and my husband had the salmon. The bread they bring out is baked fresh and hot, it’s so perfect!! Both were cooked incredibly! If you have not been here, I highly recommend it!! We will 100% be back! ❤❤

Great customer service. Wonderful ambiance and a cozy feel to this neighborhood restaurant. Food was pretty delicious--we especially liked the duck dish. Would come back again!

Great food! Exactly what I wanted to have tonight - a lot of quality meat with vegetables and no carbs. Google reviews did not disappoint. I confirm - 4.8 stars is very accurate ratings for this place. They also seem to have good covid-19 precautions. Some tables are set up outside as well.

A very low-key but high-quality restaurant. The portions were perfect, the food was wonderful for the price, and our server was lovely.

Had a group of 9 for an annual holiday dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food and wines. The atmosphere was quite friendly and service was very good.

We enjoyed a dinner here with friends. Good cocktails and appetizers. Excellent entrees and wine. We had the duck breast, salmon almond, chicken piccata and southwest salad. All very tasty. No dinner is complete without dessert. They have a great German chocolate cake! Friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

Great service, incredible food, great prices (nothin on the menu was over $30, accept wine). Its a neighborhood jem. Kitchy decor, but the food and desserts were wort ever penny.

OMG, it's incredible! Food is absolutely fantastic. Seems like I found my spot . I'm pescatarian and they have different varieties of seafood. Our server Din was very professional and friendly. Very glad I found this place, will be back for sure!

I highly recommend Idylwood Grill. In Falls Church behind WholeFoods. It really is fabulous. My husbands friend and I did a double Birthday dinner there w about 10 guests. You will need to book that many people. It’s never noisy, terrific food for a decent price. And great service. Mediterranean/Italian food, fantastic steak, wonderful fresh seafood. They know their wines too so ask what would go with your meal and what you like in a wine. And the owner/manager is Peruvian so he does the absolute authentic best Pisco Sours. Real egg white!!! It really is the Hidden Gem of Tyson’s/Falls Church area.

Interesting menu and the food was excellent. We had Shrimp Ajo (app), Duck Breast with Mushroom Risotto, and Lobster Ravioli. Bon Appetite!

Note to those who claim it is too expensive: You ordered drinks with your meal and that drove up your cost. The menu items are right-priced.

Hubby and I have officially made this our to go to neighborhood place. Everything from the food, staff and atmosphere was amazing!! As this was our second time here, we got to know the patrons who have been coming here for years and we can clearly see why. Definitely a hidden gem.

An incredible event, indeed. Both the meal and the service were outstanding. Big quantities and extremely excellent are highly recommended; we'll go back again.

Hands down one of the best restaurant I've been to , me and my family enjoyed the food and service,, we even set up a birthday party there had a special event for my friend that was getting married and it was a total of 50 guest and they took care of all of us the food was delicious the chef did a great job and waiters were so nice truly great service.

Big plates, super delicious meals (they have a large variety of seafood and also some veggie options) and super friendly staff. Big thank you for being very considerate of our religious restrictions. I would be even more delighted if the location is slightly different. The area is not the best.
