Iron Oak Post

Iron Oak is the hidden gem in downtown Melbourne. I've been there many times now, and have yet to be disappointed when I visit. They have a large selection of rotating craft beer. Their specialty cocktails are also quite yummy. The Iron Oak bartenders have always been friendly, quick, and capable when serving me.

This place is fire 🔥 the decor with the tree in the middle of the bar and old school windows is something you don’t see. The love how they split the bar down the middle to maintain an event on one side and a regular bar crowd in the other side.
Lily the bartender made my drinks all night and I could tell by the first sip she is a pro 👌🏼 I came down for a burlesque show hosted by Ivy Lez Vixens. That show was amazing. Ivy is such a great host she could have just done comedy all night.
Hats off to this beautiful venue and the burlesque event. If you have an opportunity to stop by and check out the bar and burlesque show, take it!

Great bar. Free pool table with a pretty snazzy pool table. Delicious drinks with lots of options and certainly a bar tender who knows their stuff. Adorable corner.

Decent beer selection and friendly service. Hidden away in downtown Melbourne and not well marked from the outside. Comfortable interior and knowledgeable staff. Always have something interesting on tap. Local and more popular selections.

My personal vote for best craft cocktails in Melbourne! As amazing as the EGAD speakeasies are, Ian and Allen just constantly kill it here. Ian has made some on-the-fly cocktails for me when all I give him is the name of a spirit and a flavor profile. I absolutely love this bar!

Karaoke on Thursdays are super fun like a mini concert since many of the regulars are actually pretty good. The food is amazing as well. The only issue is the noise level (auditory sensitivity), but that is to be expected of a bar.

Amazing tap room that is unfortunately off the main strip so it doesn't seem to get the traffic it deserves. The beer selection is really good and they have a wide variety so everyone can find something they will enjoy. I am a big fan of the beers from Founders that they have on tap. Also, their liquor selection is surprisingly good for a place with this much beer available.

Fun place. Over 75 drinks on tap and expertly maid affordable martinis. Great spot for small concerts and eclectic surroundings with interesting history.

Great atmosphere, with a fun and diverse whiskey selection. The craft beer selection was as impressive, with selections from across the state and other hard to find gems. The bartender Allen was knowledgeable and friendly. The addition of a stage and live music, made for an entertaining evening.

Wow! What an awesome venue in Melbourne! Ahhhmazing local beers on tap and a cool stage for live music. Saw RESINATED, Miles Galeigh, The ELLAMENO BEAT and EN Young last month (Dec) and had an incredible night! The music was phenomenal. The bar was clean and ambience was on point... please have MORE MUSIC here—we drive from Sebastian and St. Pete for kickass music!!

Love coming here! When they have entertainment it is always a blast. We have even been here for cozy drinks, benefits and love the interior. I step up for downtown for sure! The drinks are amazing and the beer selection is on point. Something for everyone!

I usually start an evening out here with a few games of pool and/or listening to the various types of live music they have on a regular basis. The service is awesome and I will always stop in here.

Huge beer selection, and my go-to bar for a good/high quality cocktail. They always have events going on of all kinds. Trivia, open mic, burlesque, rum tasting-you name it

The pizza was great, the atmosphere was amazing. Got to hear live local bands play for a minimal entry charge. An amazing assortment of drink, so many options for IPA's, Lagers, Stouts, and Ale's. If you are coming in from out-of-town or out-of-state, and are over 21. I recommend coming here for a bite, listen to live music, and have a drink of the local brews, they won't disappoint.

This place is awesome. Great beer selection with very reasonable prices and it changes regularly. Odd shaped bar for live music but it doesn't stop them from coming. The most up and coming live reggae scene in Melbourne. You would be silly to miss an opportunity to see a show here and I recommend it. Hope to see you there!

First time coming, when I got invited by the new hosts Ricky, and Evan. Had an amazing time. Best cognac I've ever had in a long time, at this bar btw. Never know what you'll get on a Thursday night Jam. What a treat. This is my new go to now. Every Thursday.

If you're looking for a cool place to try a bunch of beers, and talk about those beers, this is the place. Staff is great and the atmosphere matches. Winning.
