This park is so beautiful, and I love the stepping stone bridges that allow you to cross the water (there are about five of them!). The trail is alongside the stream, which has very clean, clear water. There's a lot of shade because of all the trees and it's a really pleasant place to take a light walk.

Great park for walking and a little quiet time in the city! But be aware, it's in the city! Do not walk in this park after dusk unless you are in a group of 2 or more. Some very naive people have been victims of robbery and assault here!

This is a great place to go for a hike if you are looking for some nature off of Columbia Pike near Bailey's Crossroads. I love this creek and the trail is paved so it is an easy hike and you could ride your bike on it too.

Such a fun place to discover - I've been looking for a spillway ever since moving to this area and then just stumbled upon it! Nice paved path, not too challenging for little ones but you'll have to carry them (and any small dogs like ours) across the water crossings. New favorite "getaway" in the middle of the suburbs.

Beautiful Oasis of green in the area. Love coming here with our dog who loves the stream. Sometimes more people around than ideal but that's probably unavoidable. Note the stream crosses the trail 5 times and there are stepping stones but not good for stollers or bikers
