This hidden gem in Falls Church is intimate, but spacious; fully-delicious, but reasonably-priced; cosmopolitan in flavor, but local in nature.
Furthermore, the service was timely and accommodating.
I strongly-endorse this wonderful restaurant!

A cozy place to have a romantic French meal! The food was delicious the service was good. We waited forever for our starter, but once we let the waiter know he quickly had it on our table. We did th3 course valentines day weekend meal. The lamb was delicious but I think the Brie stater was my favorite. Will definitely come back again.

The lamb chops are so good and delicious, make you think that you are eating butter.
The fries and mushrooms with garlic so yummy.
The apple pie is probably the best in nova.
The people that work there are so nice and friendly.
The place needs some renovation specially the chairs are not comfortable at all.

Went here for Arlington restaurant week and we absolutely enjoyed it! Warm and cozy vibe, with a super affordable and filling pre-fixe meal.

Will definitely be going back to try their brunch menu.

Parking can be a bit tough since it’s in the street so budget in some extra time if you have a reservation.

We had a great time at this French bistro. Their homemade pate was really good. And the coq au vin was solid. Among the delicious desserts I particularly enjoyed the bread pudding. Bonne mange!

The Contessa Julia and I had our first “formal” date at La Côte d’Or around Thanksgiving Day 1997. And for years we had our one annual formal date to celebrate our anniversary here also. Then as can happen, I ignorantly let go of the marriage-wheel. #ProverbialFaults

Me?! I had to be changed! Thankfully, oh so thankfully, La Côte d’Or didn’t! The food here is still thusly amazing, just as you yourself recall from that ‘Vacance en Provence’ of your youth. Service impeccable, finely appointed, with a delicate ‘amorouse musique’ to soften the moods.

Executive Chef Jacques comes from the petite village, Nice, and with aplomb adds to your dining experience a certain Gallic panache not easy to find here even in metro DC. Normal ‘across the pond’, yes and well understood. However, with the Concord’s wings clipped and the obsequious pains of Covidmess along with current upstanding international political inanities… having that Little City Staycation with an evening’s fare at La Côte d’Or just makes more sense. N’est-ce pas? ☝

Been a while. Been too long even! And the meal, it was so so so verily enjoyable! By both me & Mi Contessa. ❤😔 We will be back quite soon!

Amazing french food. The waiter was so courteous. It is not expensive at all. About 25 for a three course meal. They have a coconut mimosa that's just excellent. Cant believe I've lived in Arlington for 29 years and this is my first time going.

We love the annual Peach Dinner! And we love this restaurant. Chef Jacques has phenomenal inspirational gems on the menu daily, if you haven't been here I highly recommend it. Glad to see this yearly event happening again, and it lived up to the usual high standards, we were wowed by this year's culinary delicacies.

My husband and I like going to this restaurant. It has tasty food, nice atmosphere and good service. We usually get escargot and some main dish. This time my husband ordered a soft skin crab and ended up not liking it as much as he expected. The rest of the meal was good, including trout and chocolate mousse for dessert. It’s a nice place to eat and enjoy the company.

Nice small restaurant, very friendly with the right volume French music stile "Radio Nostalgie".
I would recommend them to add more vegetarian options, because after the fish and the vegetable lasagna, there is no other option for me.

I don’t say this lightly, easily the best brunch I’ve had in the DMV in a while. The food is incredible with real flavor and great portions. The pre-fix menu is affordable and has great variety. I got the mesclun salad (great dressing!), the chicken basquaise, and the flan, finished with a cappuccino. I really can’t say enough good things. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you for such a wonderful mean meal!

Went to La Côte D'Or Café on a random Sunday for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and staff were very warm and charming. The food was delicious and exactly what you would expect from a traditional French restaurant. We had the house smoked salmon salad and Escargots for an appetizer, and the Grouper du Pêcheur and Roasted rack of lamb for our entrees. Everything was spot on. For dessert we had the Floating Island- yum :) If you haven't been here, I highly recommend stopping by!

We loved French food very much ,so we chose the Coq d’or restaurant.
We love bouillabaisse and most of their foods, they decorated the foods like a art picture. 2 weeks ago my sister invited all in the family around 40 people .We had a very good foods and so much fun we will come back and truy soft crab and something else .Thật sĩ 5 stars restaurant.👍😊

Visited for restaurant week primarily because its hard to find escargot, and liver as options. Add in supporting a local, and we're all in. The steak frites lived up to the reviews. Great evening. Great service.

So good! I went here, then went to Le Diplomat a week later, and this restaurant is by far a better French restaurant! Loved the seafood crepes

This restaurant features authentic southern French cuisine. Great fish dishes, and classic rack of lamb and steak fries dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the pate de campagne, escargots, and french onion soup. The scallops were amazing, the best I've had at a restaurant in years. They offer a prix fixe menu, special dinner options, And the other cool thing is that Tuesday is a discounted wine by the bottle night!

I cannot believe we waited so long before we went to La Cote D'Or! We made reservations for the Thanksgiving Day pre-fixe service and were blown away by the food and the hospitality. Everything from the drinks to the dessert was outstanding. We definitely will return very soon!
