Creekside Deli

I use to come here all the time back in the day. When I came back, the quality of food and service was still the same/better. Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly, food amazing. I will definitely come back.

Great food! We had a Ruben and Buffalo Chicken. All Boar’s Head meat on Bread that’s lightly toasted and buttered to perfection. The staff could not have been more nice. Very personable and accommodating. This was our first of many trips, and would highly recommend this place to anyone living local or passing by!

Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!!! The subs are absolutely delicious- huge!! Best I’ve eaten in years. Don’t let the gas station strip mall location keep you from stopping. It’s a diamond in the rough. Can’t imagine it won’t make best roadside eats one of these days!! Will definitely stop again on our next trip through the area.

My wife and I ate at the Creekside deli for the first time today and were extremely impressed. Our sub was made with extremely fresh bread and a very generous amount of meat. The condiments were fresh and also generous. The nice gentleman who served us was extremely nice and went out of his way to insure we were happy with our meal. We will certainly be returning to try additional items.

Tiny little space, massive sandwiches! The two there were very friendly and helpful! Selection of about 12 or so sandwiches or you can make your own. One sandwich is really two! I got the godfather grinder and my hubby got the triple max. Both were delicious. If we lived near we would definitely be back!

I have to say the cheesesteak sub I just bought and ate from here was by far on of the best I have ever had!! It was made to perfection, very neatly put together and tasted amazing! The tomato’s were very fresh and perfect ripeness. The mushrooms were tasty and fresh. The sun roll was very fresh! The woman who made our subs was very helpful, delightful and had a great personality!!! I will return next time I’m in the area for sure! Wish I would have taken a picture of the sun before I ate it so you could have seen the perfection.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but this small and unassuming deli packs quite the culinary punch! Hands down the best Ruben in the state of Virginia.

Grabbed a few sandwiches before hitting McAfee Knob. Expected this place to be good, not that good. Possibly one the best Italian subs I’ve ever had.

While traveling we were looking for a good sub place & based on reviews we decided to stop at Creekside Deli. We are so glad we did! The sub was absolutely delicious & the service was awesome! Will be a regular stop when passing thru, definitely recommend!

Wow!! I was not expecting this at all. It's worth dropping by this little deli and having one of their awesome sandwiches, this is half of the sandwich I oredered. The bread is amazing, this is probably the best sandwich shop in Roanoke.

Usually get 2 lunches out of one order. Every bite is amazing. Every sandwich I've tried has been so good. 10 of 10 recommend. Owner is super friendly and hooks my food up every time.

I came to leave a review and realized I left a review a year ago. Well this review still remains 100% true. Anytime you're in there you feel like they are catering to you and they care. Food still hits everytime 👌

Worth every penny!!! Just had my first grinder from here and it was so good I could only take a photo after it was gone!! The lady who took my order was awesome as well!!

I went here for the first time over a week ago and had been meaning to leave a review. I really like a good sub and this place has great subs/sandwiches. The woman who was working there was super nice, and made my sandwich in no time at all. They use quality bread and really good lunch meats. I really enjoyed it, the food was great. I don't see a reason to go to Subway or anything when you have a local place like this pushing out far better subs.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had and a lovely conversation with the owners. We had the Ultimate Turkey and the Ultimate BLT and both were delicious. Lovely experience all around and the perfect stop for lunch off 81. Definitely definitely stop here if you are thinking about it!!

Awesome deli using only top quality Boar's Head meat and cheeses. Warm sandwiches perfectly toasted on bakery rolls. Very generous size too Why anyone would eat fast food when Creekside Deli is serving up grinders like this a mystery. Joe runs this spot like a pro, phones ringing, sandwich making, ringing out customers all with a friendly smile and an electric personality!! Love this Deli! ❤:

Super delish! Sandwiches are huge and good quality. We’ll definitely be going back!!!
My only wish (and this is such a personal preference) they’d wrap the sandwiches and subs in paper and put it in a paper bag instead of styrofoam clam so it’s easier to transport and there’s less waste.
