Benjamin Banneker Park

Beautiful playground with new structures for kids. Lots of bikes and toys for play. No public restroom.

Benjamin Banneker Park is one of the best playgrounds around. It allows for safe play that is also thrilling to tots and young children. There are tons of things to do and it is not like any other playground. It allows children opportunities for open ended play and space to move. So beautiful as well and my child loves it there!

The dog park has water and things for dogs to climb on/through. There are walking trails and an epic playground, as well as a soccer field.

Great creativity motivation play equipment! Plenty of room to run in grassy fields. Separate areas for younger and older kids. Shaded picnic tables.

Great park with a wonderful sand pit, water fountains, shaded area to eat, great equipment to climb on & of course slides. No big kid swings and no toilets. There is a port a potty near the dog park which is also where we parked as there is no assigned lot.

Great out of the way park. People leave their old yard toys there so my kids have different toys to play with every time we visit.

What a great hidden playground/park. One side for big kids and another side for little ones. Covered picnic tables. Paved trail to ride the bike or scooter. Very nice. Bikes and scooters laying about to borrow aka toys left behind by parents with money

Lovely dog park with super friendly dogs and people! I would recommend bringing your own doggy bowl to water your dog because your pup could get sick drinking from the community dog bowl. Also bring your own poop bag because there aren't any within the park from what I could see.

Excellent facilities. From the double gates to the pipes and elevated pads, you immediately get a sense of a well planned facility. It eased the mind of this first time visitor, and we'll be back as much as we can! Handicap accessible, park in front then enter thru backside gate.

Great playground for young children. Equipment is in great shape and we'll kept. Soft cushion on the ground for and falling ones and was not crowded here in winter.

Great little Playground off the Custis Bike Trail, walking distance from the East Falls Church Metro. Swings that swing very high, a little creek, a few picnic tables and large old growth trees create peaceful surroundings. A playground great for younger kids with slides, monkey bars, a little sandbox, a little tunnel tube and a foot bridge. The park is expanding and remodeling of the aging playground equipment is planned. Great little neighborhood playground.

Brand new playground with multiple games and features. You will miss shade though. Many different areas to have fun, including a soccer field and a bbq place

Meets all Arlington playground expectations but maybe it's falls church? Great spot for the family and lots of open fields and trees

Large dog park that allows dogs to get out and run. There is a great community of owner with a Facebook page. There park also has an area for small dogs.

Best dog park in NVA. So many friendly dogs AND owners. Go mid week at 2pm... there will be some dogs. Always popular!

One of the larger soccer fields in the area, with seasonal goals and nets. Well-connected by trails with an adjacent basketball court and dog park.

Great dog park to take my dog. She gets to play with many dogs. People are friendly and watch their dogs.

The new playground is fantastic! Highly recommend for the 3-7 year old set.
