Botanologica

This store is a gem for picking up special gifts or when I need a little pick me up for myself. It has the feel of a secret little organic gallery of beautiful treasures. I had passed it for many years not knowing what was inside.

Both beautiful plants and pots but also an ever changing selection of jewelry, candles, cards, and other lovely surprises like decorative paper birds. The previous owners were super amazing so I do miss them but the current owner who is always there has a gentle kind spirit as well.

Such a cute little shop full of great plants and plant-related products. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the products and I love their workshops! I did a plant mounting workshop and I can’t wait to go back in 2020 for more.

So many plants! The staff are knowledgeable about the intricacies of growing and are more than happy to explain anything you need to know. Plus, they run a bunch of hands-on classes where you can make a decoration and take it home!

Can I say WOW!!! We visited this great store, and after the staff recommendations, we picked up two unique plants that our dining room and living room were missing. Very knowledgeable staff, and we will definitely be coming back.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have the opposite of a green thumb, however they still managed to pair me with a plant that I feel confident I can take care of. Would recommend for all houseplant needs.

I love this shop and the owners, Sarah and Nick! Botanologica is the perfect neighborhood shop with the sweetest shop owners. They love plants and helped me keep mine healthy. I was out of town for 6 weeks and they were so kind to have taken care of my plants in their shop. I am forever grateful for their kind hearts and making Falls Church even more a special place for me ❤

It always makes my day to come to this carefully curated gift shop! Whenever I'm stumped on what to gift someone, Sarah always listens carefully to what I'm trying to accomplish and magically curates the perfect gift and bouquet within minutes. I'm also not the best with plants, but the ones I got from here are still going strong compared to ones I've purchased at other stores. I really appreciate the attention to detail and quality products here.

Botanologica by far is one of the best plant stores I’ve ever been to. The lovely atmosphere they create with their plants, lighting, and decor give it such a homey vibe (quite literally too because it’s in a quaint pink home). Their prices are affordable for the quality of plants they offer and the old and new owners have done a great job at providing knowledge for all levels of plant lovers! They offer great markets around the holidays that highlight other local crafters which is a wonderful way to support even more local businesses. I highly recommend checking them out!

This is one of my favorite places now. So peaceful and welcoming. The shop is beautiful and has wonderful plants and products from local artisians. I have purchased several gifts for friends who love them. The customer service is also outstanding!

Walked into this beautiful shop about a week ago after hearing about it from a friend. Was looking for some plants for mom/sister. Customer service was on point. Employees weren’t trying to just sell me stuff but educated me and actually picked out some clearance pots that fit the unique plants I had picked out. Very cool assortment of products and great quality. Definitely would suggest going and go again myself.

How did I just discover this place?!! Walked in and found so many lovely and unique items -- plants, jewelry and clothing! Everything is very tasteful and charming and carefully curated -- not your typical kitschy gift shop! I learned about the workshops and they let me set up a private one just for me and my friends. We made cactus/succulent gardens and had such a wonderful time. They clearly know their stuff and love plants. And they are so generous with their knowledge and very gentle with those of us who can barely keep their houseplants alive, like me! Will be going to back for gifts and advice!

I ordered a wreath for my home from Botanologica. I was very impressed with the result since we only spoke over the phone and email. The owners carefully listened to my wishes and created a beautiful dried flower wreath. I was confident in their expertise but they exceeded my expectations. The whole process was easy and I would highly recommend this shop.

I have ordered a few different plants from here via instagram due to covid. I finally left my house and was able to check out the store. It is filled with all sorts of plants at different price points, beautiful pottery, and other locally sourced goodies like soaps and clothing. I could’ve spent much longer in there but limited my time due to the virus. The woman that was working (I’m assuming she’s the owner) was so helpful and kind! I will be spreading the word of this place. All 4 plants I have from there are still doing great and look beautiful!

What a lovely shop, featuring gorgeous plants and pottery, plus very cool and unique jewelry and knit wear. In an antique house in Falls Church that used to be antiques shops over the last 25 years. So glad I stopped in today for first time in a year and since Botanologica took over. I may even sign up for their workshops on Sundays.

Such a cute shop with so many great plants and love that they also sell some jewelry and other unique gifts from small businesses!
