Drs. Love and Miller, P.C. - Falls Church Dentist

Great practice. I've historically had a deep-seated aversion to dentist visits, filled with overwhelming anxiety. However, my latest appointment with Dr Miller and team marked a stark departure from that norm. For the first time, I found myself not clenched in apprehension throughout the entire procedure.

The exceptional dental technician who did my cleaning today worked with both precision and gentleness, continuously ensuring my comfort and making sure she explained everything as she went along. I honestly didn’t know that dental visits could be like that and now I can’t believe that I endured 40+ years of such sub-par care.

And on top of that, the staff's universal kindness and professionalism are remarkable. They are just the nicest and most helpful people. It doesn’t feel anything like my old dental practice where they barely look you in the eye when you check in. The front desk staff here is super friendly and warm.

Despite being out of network, the unparalleled care and service they provide and the top-notch staff make the decision to go anywhere else unthinkable.

We can all agree that going to the dentist is not a fun time.
However. I always have a pleasant experience with the staff. Friendly, welcoming and always cheerful.

This initial visit was wonderful. Professional, helpful, and pleasant staff— such an impressive team. Dr. Miller had familiarized himself with the records from my previous dentist, explained how the exam would proceed, and was very attentive to my concerns and questions. During and after the exam Dr. Miller communicated very clearly and helpfully about procedures and exam findings. Dr. Miller is a warm and caring dentist, and I’m delighted to have found such an excellent dental care provider. The clinic is very clean and orderly and the dental equipment, technology, and patient safety protocols in use impressed me very much.

2nd Visit:
My initial super-positive impressions are unchanged. Courteous and engaged staff, minimal wait time, very clean and attractive office. Teeth cleaned with minimal discomfort by a dental hygienist who seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. Exam by Dr. Miller who again impressed me with his communication skills, focus on my wellbeing, and friendly and reassuring manner. This practice is really special! Thanks to all!

I’ve seen Dr. Miller for several years. He, and the whole practice, is excellent. I’ve had a couple of potentially gnarly procedures and they really take care to keep me comfortable and pain-free. I’m as much of a dental coward as anyone, so I appreciate this. The clinical staff members inspire confidence, and the reception and billing people are kind, efficient, and patient. The office has a nice, unrushed vibe — apparently everyone gets along and it looks like people are happy to work there. I take it as a good sign that the same people are there year after year. Therefore I conclude that Drs. Love & Miller are actually good people who are decent to their employees. I only trust calm, happy people to poke around inside my mouth with sharp tools. Full marks.

Everyone in our family-grandparents, parents, grandkids, go to Dr. Love or Dr. Miller. They have an excellent practice with outstanding, friendly, and helpful employees. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Dr Love and her team are exceptional in every important aspect of their practice. First, Dr Love is the best dentist I have ever known. For more than 20 years, she consistently provides flawless professional treatment coupled with genuine concern for the patients’ welfare. She is also proactive about identifying potential issues and gets ahead of them. She also is peerless when it comes to patient relations. She and her team are always a pleasure to work with. And they run the business side of the practice efficiently and professionally.

I must add a special shout out to the team — every one of them reflects the professional, friendly and supportive values demonstrated by Drs Love and Miller through the years. Special kudos to the superb hygienist Bebe!

As always, my recent appointment with Dr. Love was a very positive experience. Dr. Love and her staff are very competent, thorough, and caring. I have complete confidence in Dr. Love’s skill and recommendations.

Dr. Miller is the BEST! He knows how anxious I am when getting dental procedures done. He always puts my mind at ease, as he explains everything he is going to do prior to the procedure and makes sure I am 100% comfortable the entire time. Dr. Miller is out of network for my dental insurance, but there is no other dentist I would go to as his patient care is unmatched!

Definitely the go-to dental office in Falls Church. I've had experiences with other dental offices in the city but keep ending up back here. Highly recommend

Dr Miller and his team have taken great care of my entire family for years. Dr. Miller is extremely competent, conservative in treatment and takes adequate time to explain issues. I highly recommend him.

We have seen Doctor Love for many years. The office has always been respectful, courteous and easy to deal with. The dental work has been excellent, both routine and not routine. We like them so much we continue to go there even though they are "out of network" on our insurance. Why? Because our teeth are too important to not see the best.

My husband and I started seeing Dr. Love in 2013 or 2014 after relocating from another area. We both have pretty good teeth/oral hygiene but a trip to the dentist was never something to look forward to. Now, a trip to the dentist is nothing to be worried about! Dr. Love, Bebe, Cindy and everyone on the team have been truly wonderful. They are very gentle and always kind and compassionate. As long as they will have us, we'll never consider another dentist.

If it was possible to give more than 5 stars for Dr.Love and her office staff I would! Dr.Love is nothing short of amazing! She is kind and caring and I never feel rushed in her chair, no matter how busy she is. She takes the time to explain things and makes you always feel like her most important patient. She is super skilled and very efficient. For someone who has some dental anxiety, she has a calming, bubbly, and warm presence that makes you forget all about your dental worries. She gives painless injections and the procedure is usually over before you know it. Her team is super welcoming from the moment you pick up the phone to call their office to after the procedure. Shaune (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and Cindy at the front desk are super sweet and they make you feel like family when you walk in! I recommend her to everyone I know. You can't go wrong with Dr.Love!

Just did my semi-annual check up and they were efficient as always. It is so nice to have professionals who respect my time too. Also nice having a dentist who understands my fears and is so good at explaining everything carefully in advance when I do need something more than routine done.

Highly recommend this practice! My whole family sees Dr. Love and we get excellent care. Staff is personable and attentive. We feel recognized, heard and understood. It is actually a JOY to go to the dentist!

Love and Miller could be used as a model of how a dentists office should be run. The staff is excellent. They are extremely efficient and respectful. I have been a patient of Dr. Miller's for over ten years. I have never had to sit in the waiting room for more than about five minutes past my appointment time. Even waiting that long is unusual.
My previous dentist wanted to do a very invasive procedure that involved getting down below my gums to treat an infection that his Hygienist thought I had.
A co-worker recommended I see Dr. Miller. My first visit to Dr. Miller they did a very though review including panoramic X-rays. The result. "You have no dental issues at this time. Come back for a routine cleaning in six months".
In all of the time I have been seeing Dr. Miller I have had one cavity. They did a filling. It was smooth procedure and as I remember pain free.
This is probably not the least expensive dental care that you can find. However, they are not the most expensive either, and they will not try to sell you a procedure that you don't really need. I highly recommend Love and Miller. It also wouldn't hurt to pick up a Sonicare electric tooth brush while you are think about your dental care.

I went to this practice 7 or 8 years ago for a second opinion on the health of my dental bridges. Dr. Miller made everything very easy to understand about the risks and challenges of different courses of treatment. I was hooked. Both my husband and I have been patients there ever since. Everyone there is helpful, competent, and friendly. We are very devoted!

Dr. Miller has an excellent bedside manner. Made my mother feel comfortable. Didn’t do xrays that he felt a specialist probably want to do to the specialist’s specifications so I wouldn’t have unnecessary expenses if the specialist required more. Thank you for taking great care of my mother.

I've been going to Dr. Miller for close to 30 years. He is an excellent dentist, always on top of the latest in dental health. Bebe is a great and gentle hygienist.
