Travelodge by Wyndham New Orleans West Harvey Hotel

Long over due review. Have stayed here many times for work for months at a time. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Hit or miss with cleanliness with room. Depends on the housekeeper I think. Front desk evening staff rocks. Manager is very accommodating. Small breakfast of coffee and cereal etc. It’s not the Marriott but for the price you can’t go wrong

I give this place 5 stars mainly because the staff is super accommodating. The rooms are clean, there's a good selection of cable channels, and the WiFi is decent, but the staff is really what sets this hotel apart from other hotels. The manager has excellent problem solving skills and works hard to meet the needs of every single guest. In my case, my friend had reserved a room online with her card, which meant that I couldn't check in for her. Since we were splitting the cost of the room, he said I could pay half with my card and check in. The room was also reserved as a smoking king, but I requested a non-smoking double. He fixed this immediately without batting an eye. I also heard him pleasantly upgrade other customers to a deluxe room on the phone after they called and complained that the original room they received was dirty. His excellent customer service skills also trickle down to the very nice staff there too. I would definitely stay here again despite the drive to the French Quarter!

I didn't stay here, but this staff handled a horrible situation created by discount travel websites very professionally. They went above/beyond what they needed to in order to calm the chaos.

The travel sites severely overbooked this hotel and the people were blaming the hotel. Even though the hotel literally had nothing to do with this issue, they were very kind and went out of their way to give out necessary numbers from each travel site to make sure the reservations were canceled and refunds from those sites were taken care of if necessary.

I witnessed the chaos first hand. Hats off to this staff!

I didn't see any problems like people have posted on prior reviews, the bed was good, it was quite and this was on Mardi Gras week, had no problems checking in or out, asked for towels and toilet paper when it was low and got it right away...the TV worked fine, the water was hot, bed comfortable, the fridge worked, no microwave but could have asked and they supply one if needed...no issues at all, my wife agreed it was definitely worth the price considering the prices in New Orleans during Mardi Gras...staff was nice enough...overall I was very satisfied 😌

The front desk clerk named Dolan was a godsend he turned a bad day a terrible day into a great day. . Just by being compassionate having an having an ear being able to listen and being willing to do his job in order to make sure that I come back as a customer to the Travelodge because of Dolan I will definitely be back

Rooms are kept clean the staff is extremely friendly and kind and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated but in perfect condition. Everything is quiet no disturbances. The breakfast they offer is wonderful and fresh every day. I have been here for two weeks now and there have been no troubles that can't be taken care of just by talking to the manager. I highly recommend staying here. This is a fantastic hotel

Don't stay here. Found roaches on the floor twice. Rooms needing renovations, sprucing up but the community areas were dismal, unkept with no thought for the travelers experience. I requested a handicapped room for my mother and was told there were none available. There was urine on ground in the alcove we used to get to our room from our car.

I enjoyed our stay. It is an older motel but still kept us. Pool looked good but was too cold to swim. Breakfast was good. Everything worked and was clean.

Pretty decent rooms. Staff is very nice! Housekeeping does a great job! The only complaint is our room didn't have towels, everything else was great!

Most comfortable bed in a hotel room I've ever had, it could use some updating but it was clean but the staff was very friendly and Joe that drove us to the port was wonderful and and very Godly man, it was a pleasure to meet them all.

Awesome customer service quick and fast check in. Estanisha was extremely helpful and her suggestion for Copeland was right what we were looking for. Room was nice and clean great room for the price. Great convenient location. Will go back for sure

Staff awesome. Close to everything. They have one pool changing into a Courtyard another pool open. New furniture in our room. Not the Ritz Carlton then again I prefer here to there.

Service was excellent. The rooms were very neat and clean. Rooms smelled really good . Every appliance worked properly . Staff was very helpful and polite

I spend a couple nights here Ms.M 3PM to 11pm is amazing she’s a sweetheart & very helpful

I was looking at the reviews before i got there but it was nothing like they said everyone is friendly and my room was great i have no complains and nothing negative to say everything is positive i will stay there again if i come back to new Orleans thanks to the staff for a great stay.

Bathrooms are super clean. The tub is clean and the venear is well sealed for the shower. The nice pool and upkeep is a bit of a surprise.

Nice bathroom. Big flat screen tv. Smoking king on inside was nice and affordable. Only 15min from French quarter. I know where to stay when I visit New Orleans

Super nice clean rooms. They are pet friendly only problem is there is no grass for them. So far no complaints.

The rooms are great, the pool is great, the people are extremely polite, and it's close to a lot of restaurants and that is why I am asking to never go back home.

Stayed here twice and both times the room was clean and the staff was very nice. My experience here both times was great.
