Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chalmette - New Orleans S, an IHG Hotel

Very Clean, very nice staff. Would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area or just need a quiet get away. There were some loud kids on our floor, I think they were apart of a traveling baseball team. But I can't fault the hotel or the staff for that and we didn't complain about it. They had a very good breakfast (try the breakfast potatoes ❤) Again, I'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for my daughter’s dance competition and it was a perfect place to stay! It was very close to the competition venue and places to eat. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and kind! The rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was wonderful! We will stay here again for our next competition in Chalmette! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Location isn't ideal. Not many good restaurants around. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean.

I enjoyed my stayed here! From the moment I walked in, Trina was so welcoming! Check in was quick and easy, she also gave some recommendations on where to run and grab some food.

Very nice, newer hotel! Location is around 20 minutes to the French Quarter or 25 minutes to the lakefront. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, but the best part of this hotel is the staff! Davynel and Brittany at the front desk were amazing - friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a good holiday inn with nice staff and a pretty decent breakfast spread.

The cats will try to hustle you for spare cash and food tho.

Very impressed with this hotel. Was a little nervous with some reviews but the hotel is fairly new, it is clean and seems well managed. The front desk lady is very sweet and on top of everything. I have seen the cleaning staff cleaning the lobby every single time I pass through. Breakfast is not luxurious but not horrible. Would not recommend staying if spending lots of time in French quarter because it is really not that close. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

Everytime I visit home I stay here walmart is right next door,it's safe,great service,great breakfast

This is a great hotel to stay at but my absolute favorite thing is the staff at this hotel. They are all amazing people. They go above and beyond and make you feel like family. I stay at this hotel on a regular basis and staff has always been friendly and willing to help with anything you may need. Things will never be perfect all the time but this one is close as you can get and with my job I stay at a lot of hotels. I definitely recommend staying if you’re in the area.

I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that helped us. We were on a road trip and my friend wanted to stop and see the tanks in the museum which was close the next day. All the hotels in the area seemed booked. He happened to share with the nice lady at the front best our dilemma and also his desire to see the museum and the fact that we were only passing through and if we couldn't stay in the area he wouldn't be able to go in the morning. We stopped there around 10pm. She called another place for us and found out they were booked too. There were many people still living there that homes were effected during the resent storms. Also crews working in the area to help repair the city. Without our knowledge she called the hotel manager and was given permission to let us have one of the room the had been reserved by a corporation but was still empty. (By this time it was almost 11pm) A double room was around $200. The pool was still being repaired. The free breakfast was great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

My 2 daughters and I have been staying here for the past few days while our house is being renovated, and as much as it stinks to be misplaced.. especially when you’re not feeling good the staff has gone above and beyond to make us feel not only welcomed, but like we’re at home!
The hotel itself is very clean. The beds are super comfortable, the breakfast is good with a wonderful variety, they serve coffee/hot tea all day and night and I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff. The front desk ladies have been incredible!! They all have done everything they can possibly do for us and then some 😊 I would give 10 stars if it was an option!

Shoutout to these ladies here. Even on a short staffed crew they take great care of the hotel. Always greet us with smiles and treat our crew of lineman very well. They have taken great care of us, as sometimes we are away from home for weeks at a time. We have been booking here consistently every week and have yet to not feel welcomed yet! Always happy to help when asked!

Nice big King handicapped room. Loved the space and how clean our room was. The bed was so comfortable, we would stay here again. Felt safe in the area the parking lot is very well lit.

Charlene is amazing! We asked about possible early arrival and the team, with her leadership, provided a phenomenal experience. The fitness room is well equipped, laundry room clean and spacious, rooms have great attention to detail for device charging, lighting style, very comfortable beds. Thank you!!

In town for a work event in Chalmette and had a great experience at the local Holiday Inn Express. Liz and her staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home here in Louisiana. Highly recommend anyone visiting the Chalmette area to give it and try. Looking forward to staying here next time I’m in town!

Coming from Houston to new Orleans. This hotel was perfect! Great experience! nice friendly staff! Quick service! Clean room & Quiet & Comfortable. Enjoyable. Reasonable price. Definetly will recommend to family and friends.

First off i would like too commend the staff for their exceptional service and committment to quality. We are here in town helping with power restoration efforts in the aftermath of hurricane ida. They go out of their way to make sure our crew has everything we need and have even cooked meals for us after long days of work. They have even provided a laundry service to us and is there smiling each and everyday despite the circumstances they may be facing in there own lives. They have exceeded our expectations and set the bar high. Accomadating our every need. Our crew truly appreciates what they are doing, and what the will do in the future. Thank you is truly not enough for this staff. We appreciate all the hosptality and love shown by this establishment. They make us feel like family and thats no easy task. Definitely look forward to staying here in the future. We are grateful and we will get through this together because we are stronger together.

This Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. It's a 15 minute drive from Canal Street are uptown area. It was easily accessible to and from different parts of town. The hotel itself is clean and contemporary. The staff was very attentive and professional. Chaylene and Brelene were very helpful. We will stay here next time we're in NOLA.

A great brand-new hotel. The rooms where comfortable, and clean, staff was very polite. About 15 min into the quarter via Uber or Lyft. Very happy with our stay. The area looks to be undergoing an update, as the area around the hotel had lots of new construction and building.
