ALDI

I was very surprised how clean the store was. I had long put off coming to Aldi, even though my mother raved about it. It reminded me of the old fashioned grocery stores of my youth, before every store was a massive supermarket.

First time at this Aldi location. I have shopped at numerous Aldis over seas and they location is just as good. Very organized and has great prices. Make sure you bring a quarter so you can get a cart for your groceries. Also if you forgot to bring your own bags, you can easily pick up an empty cardboard box and use it for your storage. The cashier was quick,efficient and nice. Check this place out when you need some food.

This Aldi is always nice and clean. Very well organized. It's easy to get into and easy to get out of. Quick shopping trips are the best.

Finally after 40 years i visited the boars Nest in hazard County even the courthouse. This was really great I wished to ever see the original cast. But that's not possible. But the setting in the city. En daydreaming that the general lee was passing by yeehaa. Thank you covington for your hospitality

I absolutely am obsessed with this grocery store I know I can come in the grocery store and actually can afford the food and can feed my family quality food for my budget and I am obsessed with the seasonal items.... the charcuterie stuff I am building up my collection....

Lovely store with low cost options and strong encouragement to byoBAGs! Great mix of foods that are always available and less common specialty items. Check out is often only 1 lane but you move fast.

Bring a quarter and always get a cart! They need it at check out.

A good place to shop if you are prepared for European style grocery shopping and German efficiency. Plan on taking your own reusable shopping bags, an uber fast checkout experience, and bagging your own purchases at a bagging table. They have good prices because they don't have the expense of cold storage, shelf stockers, and grocery baggers. Suppliers stock the shelves when they deliver once a week or so. So if they're out of something, they're out of stock until the following week. If you can accept their business model, then like me you will enjoy the savings and higher quality meat and produce. Don't go to Aldi expecting an American supermarket experience, or you will likely end up disappointed.

Their prices are great. Their store brands are of good quality. I have not had any of their products that I don't like.
The vegetable section is well stocked. Treat their vegetables like you would a corner grocer. Don't buy to far ahead some of the selections don't store well.
Bring your own bags, have a quarter in your pocket for a deposit on your shopping cart, leave your brand snobbery at home and you should have a great shopping experience.
Take a breath put a smile on your face under your mask and enjoy shopping again.

People are sleeping on Aldi. It is the best grocery store, not only in Savannah, but ever. Sure, it sucks if you forget bags, but it isn't the end of the world. And everything is so much cheaper. Produce is better. Lots of fun stuff like iced mocha and the pizzas for super reasonable prices! I'm shocked by the fact that this isn't more hopping than Walmart.

Nice and clean. Carts are always cleaned up because it takes a quarter to use them, so they get returned to get your quarter back. Prices are very reasonable and they carry mostly the basics with a few frills. Bag waste is nonexistent because they promote reusable bags, or you can purchase a reusable bag or some thicker plastic bags.

I love Aldi, I just went in to buy one or two items but ended up with a grocery cart full of stuff! Of course that always happens and I always forget to bring a bag! The good news is every time I come to Aldi I always earn 25 cents because it is inevitable that somebody always gives me their cart but refuses to take my quarter?
