Dollar General

I'm giving this store 5 stars because of an AWESOME cashier. I waited in line for like 20 mins but wasn't irritated at all. There was a woman at the head of the line returning 52 items! I was about 5th in line, and with social distancing, couldn't tell what the hold up was. When she was done the cashier waited until she cleared the door and apologized to every last one of us for the woman not having manners enough to wait for the busy store to clear out before returning that many items. She was so funny. We all laughed through our masks and found a little bit of joy out of this horrible time we're in. It felt like the old normal.

This store has made a 360 turnaround with the Leadership of Hope and her new staff! This Dollar General was a HOT MESS before she came and now floors are cleaned and mopped, customers are able to walk down the aisles, merchandise is on the shelves and MOST importantly-she has hired GREAT staff that greet you, help you find what you are looking for AND are getting the merchandise on the shelves. This Dollar General is VITAL to our community and I’m glad that they have finally found a Manager that is compassionate about her job as well as the community that she serves! Kudos to Dollar General Owners who hire the Best of the Best to serve their community and offer the Best stores!!!

Found what I needed easily. One item rung up more than what the price showed oneself,cashier had an associate check price and corrected the mistake with kindness.
