Ochsner Health Center - St. Bernard

Ochsner hospital in Chalmette provides great service. They streamlined their check-in process so patients are not late for their appointments. I've had the phlebotomist named Gabriele a few times and she is awesome ! At my last appointment when she drew my blood, I did not even feel the needle at all. She is an absolute blessing for drawing blood. I give her 5 Stars as well !

I just called a few minutes ago to customer care representative named Kira about my upcoming appointment with Dr. Matthew Morgan. I admire and appreciate the quality of service she gave me. Very professional, friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. This is the kind of customer service we need so hats off to her!

Every shift on the ICU and also the 3rd floor were very compassionate professional but yet they called you friend. Sometimes they came in pairs or just singles, the doctors, their nurses, assisted so very concerned for their patients. I would go back over there as their friend and sit and just talk to them they were that much fun to be around sure helped me heal better. I highly recommend This hospital

(Dr. Stephen Bertucci): I just had my first appointment with him, and I must say he was the best general practitioner I have ever seen, no question! Very thorough, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, really just a stellar experience with him and with his nurse and office staff as a whole! I am pretty critical when it comes to medical care, but I can honestly say that I feel confident that I am in good hands and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for top-rate care 👍

The process for receiving the vaccine was well planned! From the text messages that gave clear directions about what to expect, to the signs posted at the hospital on where to enter, was well executed! The staff who greeted and checked my ID and other information- very welcoming and friendly. I was very pleased with my experience!

I had an appointment but my 94 year old father did not.he recently had several heart procedures so that is why the delay. We were told he needed an appointment which we understood. As we were waiting the 15 minutes to leave the same lady came over to the car and said there was a cancellation and please ride through again and my dad could get his shot. We are very thankful for her to go above and beyond to help us I wish I knew her name to give her a shout out. Thank you very much

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Matthew Morgan M.D. , who works with Dr Thien... And he is an Absolutely Wonderful Doctor. He listens to you and he shows he really cares about his patients..and the staff are always so nice... They always go above and beyond for each and every patient🙂 THANK YOU SO KINDLY TO ALL OF YOU, YOU'RE AWESOME! 💯

The ER team worked with a Never give up attitude and did their job well. They were excellent at communicating with us during our time in the ER and possessed a caring demeanor throughout.
The ICU team members worked seamlessly
and provided excellent care.

The people that administered the shots, directed traffic, and took care of us could not have been nicer. Y'all have a great crew! It could not have gone smoother. We are so thankful for all the healthcare workers and the administrators of this event for helping us through this challenging time.

My husband and I had our first covid vaccine yesterday at Ochsner St Bernard . There was very little wait time and everything was so organized. The employees we encountered were awesome and rnice a smile from everyone.

I signed up to have my COVID vaccine and couldn't be more amazed by how the staff handled the whole process.

From scheduling the appointment, going through the entire process of instructions, waiting in line, getting the vaccine, to the friendly staff.....Ochsner Heath Center - St Bernard gets an A+ (5☆).

My first does of Covid 19 vaccine was given at the Chalmette Oschner Medical Center. They were very organized and efficient. It was so convenient to receive my vaccine through the drive up. I was able to remain in my vehicle, therefore, not exposing myself to others. Although there we're several cars ahead of me,, the line moved quickly. The nurse that administered the vaccine was a pro. I didn't realize she had given me the vaccine. I highly recommend the Chalmette site.

I’ve always loved Dr. Truxillo since he first became mine and my son’s PCP. Extremely knowledgeable, bedside manner is amazing, he is THE best doctor I’ve ever had. Then along come NP Amanda Offner to the group and she blew me away on the first visit. They both make you feel very comfortable and It’s a great feeling to know I have not one but two AMAZINGLY TALENTED options when me or my family are sick.

We went to Ochsner St Bernard for our Covid vaccine. It was super easy, we did not wait long in line and the people were all very nice. I gave my visit 5 stars for an overall pleasant experience

Ochsner Health Center, st. Bernard is a great facility . Yesterday, I went there to take my Cov-19 vaccination, 1rst 1rst dose and my experience there was excellent. Recently began seeing Dr Matthew Morgan at ochsner at Bernard Parish as my primary care physician.

Satisfied, impressed and pleased with his attention to detail, asking appropriate questions about my health and conditions.

He's very thorough. I look forward to many years of him as my PCP. (My previous pcp, also at ochsner, left his practice to go into teaching so I'm glad to continue with their good care.) Additionally, I've had exceptional care from all providers at Ochsner.

Used the new digital check in for two appointments and found it simple and quick. Intake was seamless and receptionist was very friendly and quickly processed me to X-ray.

Lynell at Dr. DiFazio’s office is a joy! Very professional, thorough and polite!

Amanda Offner, Nurse Practitioner is fantastic. Her knowledge, and her sincere care was the best I have received since going to St. Bernard Hospital. I highly recommend her and I hope she is appreciated by her colleagues as much as I appreciated her care if me.

I went to Ochsner St. Bernard Hospital yesterday for my second Covid shot. It was extremely organized and professional. I never had to leave my car. Ochsner has been a bright light in response to the need for Covid vaccinations across the area.
