Algiers Dental Associates

Everyone was pleasant and nice. The staff was great and Dr. Hobgood explain everything to me and sit a plan for my future treatments and services.

This was my first time hearing of Algiers Dental. The staff was warm and very friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Although I went for a consultation for specialty procedures, I am strongly considering moving the entire family there for our dental needs. They were awesome!!

UPDATE: I’ve moved the entire family to Algiers Dental and they love it, too!

Dr Hobgood was able to fit me in on short notice to diagnose my issue and make a treatment plan with dates within a relatively short period of time. You don't get this level of service just anywhere.

The appointment was on time. And my experience here was great. Would recommend family and friends. Had an extraction done with know pain. Staff is very friendly!

Today was my first time visiting and it was great. I need to have a lot of work done, and my teeth are not in good sharp. Frankly, it is embarrassing. But they did not make me feel bad, they where warm and welcoming. I have gone through 5 dentist in 4 years because I hate feeling judged. I don't think I will have the same problem here. I am looking forward to working with them. If you are nervous about going back to the dentist my advice is just go for it. The service was fast and I did not have to wait at all to be seen. All around it was a good experience.

I went to Algiers Dental afraid, with a cavity, and really missing my old dentist. (I recently moved here.) I left happy, cured, and pain free. Everyone was so nice and professional...and patient and kind. Very kind and helpful. I have a new dentist!

Due to COVID & other issues I missed 3 1/2 years. It's great to be back & get the same excellent care & personal treatment as always. Love the new location!

Absolutely! I recommend this place. I had a great first experience. I have never felt more comfortable with a place or left a comment about a dentist. Dentist offices are not my favorite place to go but the personality and professionalism of the dentist and his staff won me over. Answered all my questions and concerns. Not money hungry lol you know the ones. They just gained 4 more clients. My whole family is coming to get top notch care and they also do braces.

The most pleasant dentist experience I’ve ever had. From check in to check out the staff were friendly, kind and efficient. The hygienist was gentle but thorough with my cleaning, and the dentist was extremely friendly and took the time to chat with me, explain my X-rays and welcome me as a new patient. After having many bad dentist experiences, I was so pleasantly surprised and appreciative of my experience here. I would highly recommend Algiers Dental Associates to anyone.

I went for my first visit to this dentist today and had a great experience with all of the staff. The receptionist was welcoming and the business was very clean. The hygienist, Amanda, was nice and she was very gentle during my cleaning. Dr. Hobgood took his time to listen to my concerns and went through options with me for getting some old fillings repaired. I think I finally found a dental office I will want to stick with :)

Algiers Dental Associates is a high quality dental practice. The hygienists are both personable and highly skilled. Amanda is just a bright ray of sunshine. Dr. Hobgood troubleshoots concerns and gives quality options for your dental health. After going to many dentists in the New Orleans area, I've found at home at Algiers Dental.

Great friendly staff, I was a new customer, they were able to find my insurance, take x rays, fit me in on short notice and left with a goodie bag after a cleaning. I will be back.
