Sidney D Torres Memorial Park

Great family park. Love bringing my kids here to play at the playground it's clean and very safe. I love the atmosphere, and my kids love coming to the park and running around.

Absolutely beautiful Park. Lots of gazebos and personal space areas surrounding a duck pond. There is a skate park that appears to be pretty well kept up, and the people there seem to be nice. Very quiet and not full of a bunch of undesirables... Especially considering its proximity to a Walmart.

Lighting at night isn't great, but the park rocks. One of the only good skateparks around NO

Nice park. Nice folks. You never know what you will find. We found an abandoned guinea pig. Took it home and found a loving family who was looking for one. Please don't abandon animals here. You can post on nextdoor or elsewhere to take in these souls who you can't keep anymore.

Gorgeous landscaping, several awesome play areas, an amphitheater, wide open spaces, shady places, duck ponds, paddle boat rental, and a snack shack that also sells great snow balls. I wish it had been this awesome when I was a kid.

We had a lot of fun i brought my youngest daughter n my grandkids with me they enjoyed the fireworks n music dancing we did by the band thank you so much for this family fun Happy 4th of July 2023 everyone

Lots of natural trees, landscape. Workout area, skatepark, gazebo over the water, many ducks, turtles, natural waterway around park. Boat rentals, snowball stand and snacks.

Very peaceful & clean park, you can pull up and park feet away from the ducks and water. The walking path is very nice, solid walkway, well lighting, you feel safe. Also great for kids to play they have a castle and rock wall and fishing pond. I chose to move to Arabi so I could be near such a wonderful place and see it daily.

I love this park. I walk here almost every morning. I love watching the ducks and turtles. The park is always clean and groomed.

We loved the ducks and geese! Bought some bird seed and fed them right every day we were in Chalmette.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT FEED THEM BREAD! You're KILLING them and the environment they live in. Buy the feed and seeds. Feed them right!

They have totally cleaned this place up. The trashy broken down Castle is gone. A brand new playground is there now. There's a skate park, an outdoor gym, paddle boats, lots of ducks, picnic spots and spots for taking great pics. The paremeter of the park is great for jogging and roller skating.

skate park is cool. bring a broom, squeegee, and bilge pump.

The Brock, Lewis, Bridges, and Brister Family Reunion. Sorry if I missed anyone. I had a wonderful time. It was a Beautiful Day for the Family Reunion. I enjoyed talking to Everyone. I hope and pray to see EVERYONE again. ♥🙌🙏✌

Got some smoothies with my girlfriend and had a very nice little park date. The park is very well kept and beautiful.

My granddaughter enjoyed herself out here, gonna make this a regular spot to go now.

My kiddos love this park! Had a fence around the main play area too!!

Went there to watch hot air balloons while we were in Louisiana it was nice park

Took my grandkids to the park they loved seeing the ducks and play in the swings

Went to this park as a child they had a little Mary Go Round that you had 2 run and had a run-in push, one big huge slide, one small slide in about eight swings. Mind you this was when I was a child over 40 years ago. And now it is so beautiful they have plenty equipment a nice padded area for the children to play it's gated and see you ain't got to worry about your child going out the gate so long as the adult that comes in last locks it, it's a beautiful Park love walking it I love feeding the Ducks you can now rent paddle boats there they have a Snack Shack in the back. this park is one of the best greatest Parks I've been to. the only thing missing is a splash pad other than that I love this park I will drive from Mississippi all the way there to bring bread for the Ducks and to let my grandbabies play there they love it sit there for hours with them while they enjoyed having fun.

I miss the old wooden castle :(

still a good place to walk around and sit by the water though at least.
