We had a fantastic time on the swan paddle boat experience! The serene waters and picturesque views made for a relaxing and enjoyable outing. The paddle boat itself was easy to maneuver, and the experience of navigating the waters was both fun and refreshing. Whether you're looking for a leisurely cruise or a bit of exercise, this paddle boat experience is a must-try. We had a great time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing water adventure.

We took the trolley from French Quarter (Canal) to City Park, and it was a lovely break from the bustle of French Quarter. This public park is busy, but large enough to feel quiet and relaxing. We definitely did not get time to see everything on our list, but we enjoyed the art museum, swan boats, and historic oak forest a lot. The art museum is amazing ($20 ticket for non-LA residents) and much larger than it looks from outside. The Historic Oak Forest is gorgeous and has lots of fantastic photo opportunities. This park will be on our must-do list if we come back to New Orleans, and we'll be hitting the sculpture garden and bike rental first.

Gorgeous city park, free to visit. If you're coming from anywhere north it's worth a visit as the normal tree's are very different than public parks you're used to. Seems to be pretty well maintained. Restaurant's within walking distance, one inside the park. Very close to the art museum.

We went for Christmas lights celebration and it was a good time. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting during the Christmas season. The rides were very kid friendly and there were people walking around with pets as well. They served drinks in the botanical garden.

Wow! What an incredibly beautiful place. From the giant Live oaks to the amazing free Sculpture Garden... In my opinion, City Park was even more fun than the French quarter. I would recommend getting there on the early side as It is much more quiet and peaceful. I am so impressed with the huge Sculpture Garden. Very creative, countless angles to see the beautiful sculptures. Parking is free, there are public restrooms, there is a playground for children, and of course if you enjoy the touristy deliciousness that is beignets from Cafe Du Monde, the service was fast and friendly and there was plenty of outdoor seating.

I love this beautiful and enormous park, with its magnificent ancient Live Oaks, flocks of waterfowl, pretty stone bridges crossing the water, long paved paths for walking or bike riding, art museum, history museum botanical garden, children's museum, "vintage" storyland, sculpture gardens and much more! There is so much to enjoy at City Park, and it's worth setting aside plenty of time to explore during a visit to New Orleans. Don't miss it!

Nice interesting place. Vast open area, good for family picnic. But not for BBQ or on spot cooking. Lake has Gondola ride, swan paddle boat. Didn't go inside the building.

One of my favorite places in the city. It's not only beautiful, clean and easy to get to but very peaceful. I love that it's not just a park but there are so many things to enjoy including a restaurant, museums, both botanical & sculpture gardens, paddle boats, golf, a cute train that goes around the park for the kids, walking paths, a pond, the beautiful trees and so much more.

There is so much to love about City Park, making it one of the most popular places to visit in New Orleans!

Attached are photos from a recent session under the large oak trees with beautiful Spanish Moss that hangs from them. Captured by Firmin’s Photos!

One of the cleanest and most peaceful parks. Given the size, they managed space well to include swan boat rides, accommodate runners, cyclists, lots of picnics, and good driving lanes for easy parking and pickup!!

Some super scenic views and a great place to go for sunset watching before dinner!

Rented a car while in New Orleans and just happened upon this place. Such an amazing place. Cafe Du Monde had the only comfortable chairs of the entire trip. Very clean, friendly and peaceful. So much to see and do. Must add to “to do” lists

Magically, beautiful scenery, highly recommend a walk through City Park. With it's history, and a very, very old tree, its a must-see.
There is also a Cafe du Monde on the grounds, for coffee and beignets (you have to try these!)
If you're travelling from Canal Street, the no.48 Streetcar takes you straight to it (says City Park on the front) it's $1.25 a ride or you can download Les Pass and purchase tram tickets

If you're visiting New Orleans you have to take a day to visit the sights of the park, the sculpture garden, botanical garden, and art museum are all phenomenal, and the park itself is so beautiful and so large.

With free and paid activities, public restrooms, and just a truly breathtaking space.

Beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The Cafe in the middle is worth going alone. Beignets and coffee and the gift shop are all something to stop for.

Came to the park for celebration in the oaks. Must see for holidays! Fun for kids and adults. Have free smores and hot chocolate. You can walk through the differnt stories, view the garden, go on rides at the mini amusement park, and take a train ride through the park and see the lights. Also a drive thru option to see the lights in the park.
