Dr. Diana T. Mcdermott, MD

Dr. McDermott is the best doctor I have ever seen. I've been seeing her for around 8 years now. She listens to all of your concerns. She has guided me in a direction in my life to help me get physically and mentally back on track. There is no better doctor around that cares for her patients as she does. She will not prescribe you something you don't need, she will find the best solution to your problems to get you cued without making you jump through hoops. I've sent a lot of people her way, not one of them ever had a compliant. Thanks for everything Dr. McDermott your the best

Dr. Diana McDermott MD did a great job with my first ever health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great – they were helpful, patient, and I would highly recommend to family and friends

I was only a patient of Dr. McDermott for one pre surgery checkup three years ago. I was satisfied with her. I can see others are not so happy but I have to wonder what is going on sometimes. Doctors can't do the impossible, even if we ask them to. Modern medicine is very complex but as a three time cancer survivor I'm quite happy.

I love Dr. McDermott, she’s so caring and compassionate. She listens to all of your concerns and she goes above and beyond to give you the best advice and health options there is. I really enjoy going to the office to see Dr. McDermott because I know she will take good care of me!! Just know you will never be disappointed

Gotta love a doctor who tells it like it is. Dr. McDermott is compassionate and CARES. Yeah, you may not always like being told you need to eat more leafy greens and walk more, but ugh, sometimes it's the basics. Have been going to Dr. McD for years and she continues to impress me with her dedication and enthusiasm for medicine. Make the drive to Chalmette for a breath of fresh air.

Dr Mcdermott is simply the best!

I BROUGHT MY16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN FOR A VISIT, IT WAS THE FIRST IN PERSON VISIT WITH THIS PROVIDER. SHE SAID MY DAUGHTER WAS DUE AND NEEDED SEVERAL VACCINES AND SAID SOME WERE NOT OPTIONAL. MY DAUGHTER REPLIED, THAT SHE WOULD LIKE TO RESEARCH THEM MORE BEFORE GETTING INJECTED. THIS DOCTOR THEN BEGAN TO QUESTION MY DAUGHTERS REASONINGS. WHEN MY DAUGHTER WASN'T GIVING HER THE RESPONSE SHE WANTED, DOCTOR D. MCDERMOTT THEN TELLS MY 16 YEAR OLD CHILD "WELL YOU DIDN'T BOTHER TO DO RESEARCH ON SUICIDE WHEN YOU ATTEMPTED LAST YEAR DID YOU?". MY DAUGHTER BECAME EXTREMELY EMOTIONAL AND WAS CRYING HER EYES OUT., I WAS IN UTTER DISBEILEF OF WHAT I HAD JUST WITNESSED AND HEARED. SHE, THIS DOCTOR WHO TOOK AN OATH TO DONNO HARM, HAD JEOPORDIZED MY DAUGHTERS MENTAL HEALTH AND LIFE OVER A VACCINE!!! SHE ADMITTEDLY SAID THAT SHE NEVER EVEN SEEN THE DISEASES FOR WHICH THESE VACCINES ARE FOR. THIS IS THE SAME DOCTOR WHO FIRST SEEN MY DAUGHTER VIA TELEMED AFTER HER SUICIDE ATTEMPT IN 2020. NEEDLESS TO SAY MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN HAVING CRYING SPELLS EVER SINCE THIS LAST VISIT WITH DIANA MCDERMOTT. THE PROVIDER DID APOLOGIZE, BUT IT WAS OBVIOUS ENOUGH THAT SHE WAS NOT GENUINE. AFTER SHE WAS ASKED, SHE DID ADMIT TO ME THAT SHE DOES INDEED RECEIVE BONUS FUNDS FROM THE GOVERNMENT FOR VACCINATING HER PATIENTS. SHE DOESN'T TRULY CARE ABOUT HER PATIENTS, IT'S ABOUT MONEY, AND SHE WAS WILLING TO SACRIFICE MY DAUGHTERS MENTAL HEALTH OVER IT. WE WENT IN FINE AND HAPPY. WHILE MY DAUTHER WAS FILLING OUT THE FORM AND MEDICAL QUESTIONNAIRE SHE SAID TO ME WITH A SMILE "I'VE BEEN REALLY HAPPY LATLEY MOM." AND THAT WAS HER REPLY ON THE FORM. I PRAY MY DAUGHTER IS ABLE TO MOVE ON FROM THE COMMENTS THAT THIS ABUSIVE DOCTOR SPEWED TO A CHILD. I KNOW IT'S REPLAYED IN MY MIND MANY TIMES SINCE.

Pays more attention to the computer than the actual patient. Will not be seeing her again; no compassion as a doctor. Felt very belittled.
