Best Western Plus Chalmette Hotel

I mostly enjoyed my stay. The staff was great. Breakfast was great. My husband made sure to leave a tip and I implore anyone who eats breakfast to do so as well. The best part honestly was the orange juice and biscuits and gravy and if you’re lucky to grab some bacon. Besides my room being beside someone who decided to blast music at 4 in the morning and start partying my stay was still pleasant. Thin walls…it was a good distance from anywhere I wanted to go family and festivities.

The rooms are clean, comfortable. The front desk was nice and very helpful. Great food options with in 5 mile radius!

It perfectly located for my needs. Breakfast was good. Rooms were well maintained and clean.

It is older but a good place to stay on a budget! Service was great!

Gina and Lance make this hotel feel like home and keep you laughing! Great breakfast, clean rooms, and staff that goes over and beyond! Close enough to the quarter to Lyft but far away enough from the craziness.

this hotel was amazing. the rooms were nice and clean except one room it smelled like mildew and mold. but the front desk was nice and we switched rooms . The pool was awesome very nice and clean and clear water🙂. the microwave and fridge was in great condition. HAD FUN. WILL GO BACK

The pool closes pretty early but the room we ended up with was great. The 1st room smelled bad and the carpets smelled like mildew but they changed our room with no problems. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is just a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and your choice of apple or orange...and they had orange juice, apple juice, and coffee. This is a no smoking facility.

Totally loved my experience here. This hotel is in a small town twenty minutes to Downtown New Orleans. The staff is friendly and the rooms are modern. I stayed here after a concert with my spouse and we liked being close to the city, but far enough to be away from crowds, traffic and noise. For eighty nine dollars, the experience could not be beat!

An awesome experience! This hotel is clean clean! Staff is terrific! Outside grounds need more places to sit &enjoy the weather & for those who smoke.. How about some privacy fencing so one can relax and enjoy the outdoors without having to see the busy traffic around the hotel? This does impact one's stay that enjoy spending time outdoors while staying at this hotel.. Yes outdoor space is space is limited however improvements can definitely can be made to the outdoor space!!! Only part of the experience that was disappointing..

We were very pleased with our 4 night stay at the Best Western Plus. The room was great, breakfast was excellent, internet was fast, the desk person was exceptional. Parking was fine. Nice area and enough eating choices within walking distance that was not a problem. I would particularly recommend your guests to try the Italian restaurant in the plaza next to the hotel which was recommended by the desk clerk who was one of the best desk clerks I have encountered. He made our stay a joy.

This was a very nice hotel. The facilities were clean and the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed a hot breakfast of waffles, potatoes, omelets, sausage and gravy biscuits, yogurt, fruit. The hotel is in a good location as it’s only 9 miles from Decatur Street in New Orleans. Very convenient and we will definitely stay here again when visiting New Orleans.

We stayed for about 5 days and we loved everything about it! The staff was so nice and friendly! The kids loved the fresh backed cookies AJ made in the evening... Very clean and comfortable.... Breakfast was great! If we ever go back to New Orleans, this is where we'll be staying for sure!

Fairly new property, easy on/off highway access, very clean! I was pleasantly surprised with the room decor and bed comfort. TV channel choice was over-the-top, 66 channels listed on room channel guide but easily twice that once you start surfing. Scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage patties, waffles, pastries, yogurt, juices, etc.from 5 till 9am! I highly recommend this property!

The hotel was new and clean in appearance. The desk clerk was very nice and friendly. Many options on their breakfast line up. I just wish for a meat option other than sausage. I asked for a quiet room during the reservation process & they honored that by putting us away from street noise & the elevator. A Family Dollar store and Winn-Dixie supermarker were within walking distance. The place was much quieter than downtown New Orleans!

It is a bit difficult to rate a hotel during coronavirus pandemic, as always the room is great BUT what really sets the hotel apart is It's staff. The staff, especially the night shift, is doing EVERYTHING they can to meet our needs, and traveling with someone who has mobility issues, and trying to insured their safety makes for a very needy guest. Thank YOU again for a great stay❣

Terrific place a short ride outside of downtown New Orleans. The staff is welcoming and rooms are spotlessly clean and modern. Throw in the complimentary breakfast and delicious breakfast and you have a perfect stay. A little out of the excitement of the crescent city but oh so much less expensive! We actually enjoyed the quiet time 😉
