I would give it more stars if I could. The place was spotless, smelled AWESOME as soon as you enter. We had a wonderful server, Bri...she was great!!!! The food is wonderful, perfectly marinated, easy to cook, absolutely delicious. I was so full, but my mouth wanted to keep tasting. It was light but oh so filling. I was well informed on the specials and the invitation to return was warm upon leaving, felt very welcomed upon arrival, and seated immediately. I do recommend a table as opposed to a booth for the very tall people...(over 6'5) only because of the housing for the table grill. Even with that...I would go well above and beyond the 5 star max here.

Amazing! We love coming here. The food is so delicious and our service is always awesome. The pork belly and beef bulgogi is my favorite. The red sauce is the best too. We get the, all you can eat. The price is worth it.

Just got home from Empire. We were celebrating my birthday(party of 8). They put us in our own private area which is good cause we are loud after several drinks. All the food was amazing, and there was alot of it. Most of us just ate sushi and every roll was great. The Wasabi was on point and the guys that had the meat loved it. The place is super clean, smells amazing, and the food came without much of a wait. Kevin was our server, and i believe hes also the manager, but he made an already great night out with friends that much more special. We will now be calling ahead to make sure that kevin is available(not sure hes gonna be as excited to see us). However he now understands the importance of a lime in a light beer. Lol. Thanks to everyone at Empire that made tonight unforgetable. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend

My wife and I had our date night there tonight and we had such a good experience I felt compelled to write a review. Starting with the staff, very friendly and polite. Drew, our waiter, was quite helpful with guiding us through the menu as neither of us had had Korean BBQ before. He was attentive without being too much. The food itself was amazing. It appears rather simple and in a way it is but that doesn’t mean it’s not bursting with flavor. I got the spicy pork bulgogi and spicy pork pot belly, my wife got the beef bulgogi and shrimp. We were both very pleased by what we ate. The sauce flights were delicious, only change I’d make is to have more sauce but you can always ask for more. I also very much enjoyed the hot green tea and it is unlimited refills. The ambience also is tastefully done, modern and gives you a good Korean feel. 5/5 stars we are planning to go back soon and taking her parents and our kids next time. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys good food. Some might say the $33 price tag for a plate is high but if you are a larger person like I am, you will leave having felt like you definitely got good value. Do yourself a favor and go try it.

The food and atmosphere are amazing!
Our server was beyond phenomenal and made the night truly delightful.
Highly recommend if you're celebrating an occasion or simply enjoying time with friends. I plan to be back again!

I've been to one other Korean BBQ and this place absolutely blew my expectations away.

The food and the service were excellent. We went there for lunch for my wife's birthday. She ordered the all you can eat Korean barbecue and I had the all you can eat sushi. Everything was fresh and tasty.

I ordered the Monster roll and the 217 roll. They were sooo delicious! The 217 roll was my personal favorite. My food was also ready exactly when it said it was going to be. I will definitely be visiting again for the All-You-Can-Eat sushi!

As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted by a wonderful aroma. All the staff were pleasant and engaging. We experienced excellent service and were served an abundance of delicious food. The portions are very large. We order combo B for 4 people and couldn't finish half of it. The owner is very friendly. He interacted with us throughout our visit and offered suggestions.

Try it, I think you're going to enjoy this restaurant.

So we went to try this new restaurant, and it was excellent. We had lunch all you can eat, no carryout, so eat up. Our server was Jeremy, he was on point, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and more. Thanks Jeremy you made it a very enjoyable experience. The food was very good, we tried as many meat as we could hold, all good. The only thing I didn't like was the kimche, I tried it cold and warmed it but didn't like the taste, but I'm sure some will like it. I also had the mango Sujo cocktail, very good (×2). I would definitely recommend trying this place. We left very full.

We have never been to a Korean BBQ before. This was such a great experience and the staff was super friendly. Our server was fanominal. Our kids enjoyed the all you can eat sushi while we all had the k BBQ. Food was delish.

I got the all you can eat Korean BBQ and my wife got the all you can eat sushi. We both absolutely loved what we got. The meat was well marinated and so tender. My favorite was either the beef bugolgi or the garlic pork belly. The kimchi was really good too. My wife said her sushi was some of the best sushi she’s ever had. I got an old fashioned to drink and it was really smooth and delicious. Our server did a great job at explaining the process and checking on us. The restaurant had a clean and modern environment. The prices were reasonable for all the food got and how good it was. We were very happy with our experience!

I have been going here since they opened. The service is great. The food is amazing. And the place is very clean.
I love how Kevin, the manager, listens to what the customers have to say and makes things happen. My husband and I lived in CA for a long time and after coming to Springfield, IL, we could not find any sushi in the area that could compare to the quality of sushi that we've been accustomed to living on the west coast until we came to this restaurant 🥰🥰 He had made it happen.

Love coming here for the all you can eat. Service is great and the atmosphere is modern. They also have decent cocktails.

Wonderful place. Great atmosphere for a dinner party or date night and lunch is still pretty casual. The booths comfortably seated 3 on each side for our group. They also had quite an impressive bar.
The food and service were great and the plum wine was fantastic! The all you can eat sushi addition to the lunch special was the cherry on top for my husband. Well worth the price for everything you are offered. We will definitely be returning.
The only thing I wish they had was sesame leaves, but I understand the difficulty involved in getting and keeping fresh produce that isn't common in the area.
Short of that, it was as close as I've come to eating my (언니) sister in law's cooking...she's from Seoul.

This place is upscale and feels very classy. The serving staff brings their "A" game while caring for you. As a Korean BBQ spot, you cook your own foods, but they are willing to offer tips and advice along the way. The side dishes were amazing. We loved the cucumber, the bean sprouts, and the kimchi. The Daikon was an excellent palate cleanser. We did the "all-you-can-eat" option for $40 dollars a person on 2/17/23. This was an excellent choice as it allowed us to sample a smattering of options. I particularly enjoyed the bulgogi beef, the new york strip, the garlic pork steak, and the empire steak. The marinade on the bulgogi caused it to be extremely tender. My wife was particularly impressed with the quality of the meats (she is not a big meat-eater, so this is a huge deal).
We will gladly drive the 1.5 hours time and time again to come back here.

Real deal Korean BBQ. So so good. All sorts of little cups fills with goodness and the meats...holy smokes this is the best place I've eaten in many moons. Grills on table and korean beer.

Engaging place for a romantic dinner or a group of friends! Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions, you can cook your own dinner at the table or assistance is offered. Been back a couple times, food quality is great. Nice atmosphere and haven't had a long wait for a table even on the weekend. Very spacious.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a Korean restaurant on our way home to Chicago from Missouri. You can never go wrong with Korean bbq. Their all u can eat bbq is 29.99 on Mondays is a good deal. The server was very friendly and accommodating.

This place is so amazing!!! The lunch waitress is super sweet, helpful and great at her job. The sushi is one of the best I've ever had. The angry dragon roll is my fave!!!!
