It was our first time here, and we had a great time! I ordered their chili cheese dogs with homemade chili and a carrot cupcake for dessert. It tasted delicious! All our food was fresh and good. We sat in their outside seating area, and it was really nice. We'll definitely be back again!

We went to Home Plate tonight for dinner. I had the taco salad, Mrs had grilled chicken and bacon sandwich, son had fried chicken sandwich, and my youngest had personal pizza. We also shared an order of cheese curds. Everything was excellent, it was really packed in the restaurant I guess this place is not a secret, and the service was great. This is an excellent choice for dinner. We will be going back!!!!

The service was excellent. Gina answered our questions about menu items. The barbecue pork sandwich was the best I have eaten. You can get the very mild barbecue sauce on the side. The fries were crisp. They accommodate special orders. The other diner got hot dogs with the condiments on the side. They accidentally put ketchup on the hot dogs. The food came out quickly.

This place is as awesome as I had heard!! I love the decor. It was perfect for the name.
It is very family friendly. Our server, Cassidy was wonderful!! They were busy but we never lacked anything or had to ask for service. The food was awesome. Many different selections than ordinary. And the portions are large. It was hard to decide what to get because it all looked good.
All the staff was super friendly and helpful.
The owner/manager stopped by our table to check on us. Also, weird fact, the bathroom was so cool!!
I highly recommend this place!!

Service was outstanding and the food was great. Drinks were perfect too. Highly recommend the field of dreams drink of you like coconut flavor. And the sandlot drink came in a fun "adult Capri sun" pouch.

This was our first time visiting home plate today. We were a party of two adults and 2 toddlers. The food was very good. The service was outstanding from our server, Jaylen, who was very busy but still made time to chat with us and give recommendations to the manager Daniella, who gave us great beer recommendations and even gave us a free beer when we mentioned we had wanted to sample something but it was in a can. And we were surprised when they offered our little ones free popsicles after their meals. So sweet to see such a kid friendly establishment! We will definitely be back.

Home Plate was the Grand Slam of our weekend. Charcuterie Board Appetizer was a huge hit. We are Low Carb with a gluten allergy & this hit the spot. Chicago style brats & dogs with no buns & side salads that were nice size! All were appealing to the eyes & the appetite. Manager stopped byvto check on us, owner checked on us (& others). This Sportsbar is a must visit. Variety of games on all the TVs. Oh...and we ordered a spicy sausage pizza to go....the sausage is the crust! Hope we are back soon! Check this place out!

Just love this place.. so many spirits options and the food is terrific! Great owner and staff always attentive and happy. My go to places for Chicago style hot dogs!

Very good food , menu and service 😋

Visited Home Plate tonight with family and had an amazing time! Loved the baseball themed atmosphere, and had to leave with some HP swag! We were served quickly and professionally by Taylor and enjoyed her being our HP rep for the evening! The GM or owner maybe?...came to our table and spent time visiting with us and made us feel at home.

Menu was varied enough and had something for just about any taste. What I experienced and thought was great was a number of HP associates conversing with customers while helping keep tables clear, drinks refilled, and when a storm passed over they were really quick to batten down the hatches, zipping up the plastic window coverings to keep customers dry.

Next time we are in the Springfield area we will definitely make Home Plate a lunch or dinner stop.

I always like to check out local establishments when I’m traveling. Definitely glad I went here. Food came extremely fast. Burger was hot and fresh. Even though I didn’t drink today, their bourbon selection is impressive. The bartender, Abby was excellent and very friendly. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area again.

Despite this place being packed on a Friday evening, we immediately were seated with a nice patio table. Restaurant was not overly loud. We were happy with the drink selection and each got something we loved. The horseshoe was ok, pretty one-note, but between two of us, the full size was perfect to share as a whole meal.
