Really neat classy looking store. Definitely a good vibe in there. I needed to get fitted for a tux for an upcoming wedding, Nick was incredibly helpful and friendly. (All the staff members I spoke with were friendly and helpful). They got me right in, got my measurements and had me good to go in a very short amount of time. I appreciate their help. Good business. Ton of selections to choose from.

First time customer. Incredibly beautiful space, TONS of inventory. The owner was nice enough to pick out several selections for me, taking my input into consideration. No pressure, flexible and courteous. Tremendous people and a local business = win win! New life long customer. 10/10 stars.

Several months ago, I ordered three made-to-measure suits. The wool swatches were beautiful, and the finished suits exceeded my expectations. Mark chose complementary linings that add to the overall appearance. I also purchased several spread collar shirts, ties, and suspenders to go with the suits, and Mark gave me three pairs of over-the-calf hose to complete the package. I've now worn all three, and they fit so well and are especially comfortable. There's no need to go to St. Louis or elsewhere to have fine suits made. It's all possible right here in Springfield.

10/30/2023: Returned and was surprised to see that the store has doubled in size, carries women's shoes and an expansive collection of men's shoes, also new varieties of merchandise. Bought two pairs of shoes for my wife and two casual shirts and suspenders for me. The two new sales personnel are friendly and personable, and Mark is always a pleasure to work with. This is a great update and expansion of the best men's store in Springfield and the surrounding area.

3/27/2024: I portray Mark Twain and decided to purchase a 3 piece white suit. Mark ordered one in linen, which is especially good for summer when the next portrayals are scheduled. It arrived today, and I went for a fitting. It needs only minor alterations and will be ready in a week, well before I'll wear it. Once again, a great selection and wonderful service from the best men's store in Springfield.

We worked with Terry for our wedding and he did an excellent job at pulling things together. We had a few hiccups with sizing but there's no blame to place since none of my groomsmen were able to come get fitted in person d/t living far away. Everything that he measured me for fit great. Terry was always a text or call away with any issues or concerns and worked with us well on pricing. If I need another suite or sport coat, I will be returning.

I've been a customer of this store for 20 years. I purchase all my Jack Victor sport coats, suits and most of my dress pants from Marc. I have somewhat of a muscular upper body from my weightlifting years. As such, it wasn't always easy to get jackets to fit well. But, Marc is quite knowledgeable as to what cut of jacket will fit different physiques the best. And thanks to his knowledge, the jackets I get always look and fit great!

I can be a fairly particular customer and, at times, I have a lot of questions/concerns. In all my years of going there, Marc has always taken the necessary time to ensure I get exactly what I'm after, be it the fit, the material, the color, the pattern or whatever. Marc's great. Period.

Haven't been in Jim Herron since they moved from downtown to The Gables. Went in search of a print bowtie to go with a summer suit and a pair of white suspenders. Marc showed me the perfect bowtie and said they could order the suspenders. Paid for the bowtie, looked around, and found three great casual summer shirts. Then I saw a black suit but not in my size. Marc showed me a black suit in a size I would not have thought to try. It fit beautifully but of course needs tailoring. I'll go back with the correct shirt and shoes when the suspenders arrive. Great service and a pleasant shopping experience amongst an excellent selection of men's clothing.

Can’t say enough good things about these guys, and I love the newly expanded product line. The hit the “mark” as the world continues to shift to more casual attire, but still sharp.

This week I am attending my first conference since COVID began. It was like old times when I popped into the store begging Mark and Terry for last minute help with my clothes. These guys are the best. Thank goodness for their broad range of inventory. Once again they saved the day.

Was looking around for our wedding coming up this year. Terry at Jim Herrons is the only person we will every shop with again! Their customer service is outstanding, always polite and truly loves what they do. If you are looking for a better alternative to a tux for a wedding I would recommend them every time! Thanks Terry for all the help, you’re great!

When other stores said no, Mark at Jim Herron LTD said yes.

I was looking for a tan camel hair or medium brown cashmere jacket for a wedding. The other stores I contacted said they had them coming but couldn't tell me a date when they'd be in. Mark was able to order the jacket I was looking for and have it here in less than a week. Looks great, can't wait to wear to the wedding I have coming up for one of my nieces.

I have purchased virtually all of my suits, sport coats, dress slacks, and ties, and a significant amount of my casual clothes, from Marc Maslauski at Jim Herron for 28 years. Marc has a great sense of style and fashion, fine attention to detail, knows his customers and provides impeccable service.

Got my teenage son all geared up to go off to college! Josh & Marc took the time to make sure fit was correct on trousers & sport jackets. Church ladies said he looked just like a model when he wore his new outfit on Sunday!
