Scarlet Begonias

Super delicious, super convenient! Just steps from the Rail Station Visitor Center, you'll find this very delightful cafe, with excellent service, toasty and tasty sandos, and a place to set yourself down outside. I chose outside, as I had 3 bags with me from the train, so it worked out wonderfully for me. I had the turkey with sprouts, (instead of spinach) sando...and some very refreshing lemon Ice Tea! But those snappy pickles and crispy chips...nice touch! I was waiting on the Bus connection at the Station, and I was hungry, plus my bags were heavy...so again, super convenient for you travelers getting off the train or bus. Delicious food. I highly recommend it!

This is THE CUTEST restaurant ever! Great atmosphere, service was outstanding and the FOOD, OMG, was delicious! We had the LOVE LIGHT sandwich. Amazing flavor and texture. Definitely one of our new favorites. Prices are reasonable, parking was right our front and very clean.

Had a good beer, wonderful service and the food was yummmmmmy. I'd recommend to any tourist visiting to go here for at least one meal!

The restaurant is beautiful inside. The owner is great and the staff is friendly. I got a cheese pizza and it was amazing. Highly recommended. Support local and check out this place!

Scarlet Begonias has been my go to for years! Doug, Colleen, and Sallie Lavallee, actually welcome you into thier home atmosphere. They are NOT closed, they ARE open to make you happy, and I truly hope they are around for years to come. Thier dishes are made with love and the experience is second to none. If you haven't tried Scarlet Begonias, it's on you, and your missing out!!!!

We’ve been wanting to try here for a while and today was that day! The ambiance is super cute and warm. The restaurant is very clean. The food was excellent and ingredients were so fresh. Burgers were tasty and huge. Beer selection is great. Service was expedient, kind, and attentive. It was really refreshing to have all these things done well. Thank you!

My husband and I just ate there and I had the Tango Burger! The sauce/mayo was delicious!! The portions were amazing and the slices of bacon were the best so I suggest you try there! The owner also came out to check how we liked the food and I thought that was pretty cool! I will definitely be back! Plus atmosphere is super cute!

My husband and I had the most delicious dinner here. Husband has the Rose Begonia, and I had the Chicken & Spinach Linguini both were absolutely wonderful many props to the chefs. Makenzie our server, and Madelyn are excellent. Great service, delicious food, and a terrific wine selection. Scarlet Begonias is Outstanding.

Have never had a bad or ok dish here! Their salmon czar salad is the best I've ever had! It isn't always on the menu so call ahead if looking for it!

My hamburger looked so good, I forgot to take a picture of it's beauty and it definitely was one of the best I've had in Brunswick. And we're really looking forward to our next visit to try some other exciting menu selections. Keep up the great work 👍

Stopped by this afternoon for a quick bite and I will DEFINITELY be back for a full dinner soon. I had half a Reuben and my hubby had a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. OMG- both the Russian and Caesar dressings are made in-house and are absolutely delicious. The corned beef was melt-in-your-mouth yummy and the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and grilled. We had some Arnold Palmers to accompany our meal and both the tea and lemonade tasted delicious as well. Service was also wonderful and you could tell folks there are close-knit. I'll be back!

So my friends grandparents own this place, so I went to here for his birthday, I have the pizza, IT WAS SO GOOD i just loved it,
the cheese was delicious and the crust was nice and crunchy. Sauce was nice red and tasty, 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend

Excellent food. Long time Brunswick favorite. They have a great location near the rail station, complete with outdoor dining options and drinks. Covid conscious. The pizza is amazing especially, the Simon Says. Anything you order, really you can't go wrong.

Came in for lunch again yesterday afternoon. Perfect service/perfect food. Great prices. This has to be my favorite restaurant. Love the Jade plants and all the sparkly lights.

Gem in Brunswick. Our favorites are the Margherita pizza and the Reuben. I never thought I would say this but the Reuben is actually better if you remove about half of the generoys amount of corned beef. Take the extra meat home and make yourself another sandwich later.

Went with my family and damn is the food amazing! My burger was cooked to a perfect mid-rare, the fixings were fresh and homemade and the bun was bakery soft. My wife said the same with her Cobb Salad and my boys approved with their contented silence. Only criticism would be the need for a kids menu.

Kevin was my waiter this evening. I will be back just to enjoy his company again. I have not had wait staff this amazing before!!! That being said, I had the Tango Burger. It came with chips and a dill pickle. The only thing that stops this restaurant from being a fine dining experience is simply their status of being so small and hidden away from everything. The food only accented how good the environment and friendliness of this place really was. Amazing job everyone!!!

Just ate here and wish I had known about this place from the get-go! Lots of good places on maine street but go here instead. I had an awesome tango burger with the sauce on the side cooked perfectly and the drink selection is top notch. Daniel, our waiter this night was very attentive and made us feel welcome which seems too much a rarity these days. So happy to add this place to my top 5 in the area. Thank you.
