Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

Shopped there today. Labor day. John, gave outstanding service. Our contractor friend at home, recommended Sherwin -Williams. We brought in a deck sample and he looked at colors and scanned it in. My wife couldn't believe what a perfect match. Great service and quality. Who could ask for more. Highly recommend this store and definitely John. Kudos to him, sorry he was working on the holiday, but Lucky for us.

During our first home renovation, we have been so appreciative of the fantastic staff here that has helped us get going on transforming our walls and cabinets! Grady specifically has been super knowledgeable and friendly in helping answer all of my questions and make recommendations based on what we wanted to see happen. While trying to figure out what color I needed to match a chip which had occurred on our wall, Rob suggested I take a color fan home to make it easier for me. He saved me multiple trips and frustration. I found a good match because of Rob!

I had two different paint projects inside( bedrooms )and outside(porch). In both instances, I needed help figuring out what type of paint I should use. The staff here is so helpful, friendly, and spot-on. They even take back old paint to recycle.

Brooks is an absolutely amazing manager at this particular location. I have been using Sherwin Wiliams out of Portsmouth and Dover for pretty much 31 years. But when they opened the York store as I live in York, I found it very convenient to say the least. I had a problem with one of my clients that stole the product that had been invoiced to my company. Brooks turned the situation around and issued that particular client an invoice for the materials that he now possesses…It’s very comfortable to know that when a sales rep shows up at your job site he’s considerate of your time. I purchased 3 gallons of matte polyurethane only to find that it was a natural product that has a history of being solid at the bottom of the container. I was not warned of this nor was it checked at time of purchase. While trying to return the product I was told “this is normal” and others loved the product. I had to ask repeatedly to just refund me for the purchase as I don’t have an industrial paint shaker to make this solid “binding agent” emulsify back into the poly. Finally one of the associates said “if she wants a refund give her a refund”. My time was wasted not only on the purchase and trying to use the product, but even when trying to return it. I won’t be returning to this location and I hope I have a better experience elsewhere as I do like their paints.
