Beautiful, sunny 67°... perfect to watch waves and have ice cream

Im on vacation here and it was the first time here as well. Staff was super friendly and quick to take your order and to ask if you need anything. The food was always very good. I think they have the best fried dough around.

We discovered this deli years ago but haven’t been since covid till last Weds we had breakfast then went back coffee break then back for lunch !!! Very friendly every time my wife ordered chowder but they were out we already paid but my wife said no problem substitute hot dog and extra cheese fries they were very apologetic and we get back to beach and there was enough fries for three meals!!!! Our server had nicest smile and I got her laughing when I said your still smiling having to deal with us tourists!!! Haha

This is a surprisingly nice place to grab a sandwich, great seafood or an icecream. No frills but very friendly staff in a busy environment. Good food, perfect quantity and the prices are very good

Said online that they were closed but we walked past and saw they were open! The girls at the counter are very sweet, and the food is great!

The Oceanside Store is the premier Long Sands lunch spot! Crispy fries, mouth-watering fried clams, and delicious subs and wraps are just a few of the stunning offerings on the menu. The staff of mostly local teens greets everyone with a smile and a courteous “How’s it going?” The prices are extremely comparable to others on the beach. I would HIGHLY recommend The Oceanside Store to anyone visiting Long Sands for its great location (near the bath house), delicious food, and pleasant staff!

I heard the cinnamon rolls where to die for. Well it’s true. Those are so good , fluffy and made like croissants and with a great filling.

So, I saw the most disgusting display of a human being today at the Oceanside store. I watched a woman berate not only a teenager working there, but a manager as well. Apparently, this stuffy hag, thought everyone should bow down to her snot nosed little kid with a fish allergy. She was “appalled” at the fact that they don’t take into account the little sniffling tykes who have such allergies and use separate oils for fish, chicken, steak and the hambone the ugly woman probably has for breakfast. “Cancel my order” she screamed and followed by letting the manager know “I will make sure, no one, ever, ever, eats at this place again. Well, needless to say, all who were witness to this barrage of spew for this hag, applauded the manager as he graciously told her, “you know what, you can just go away”! Bravo sir! Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
By the way…..food, ice cream and service are A+ here. Just make sure if you see a woman with brown hair causing a stink; tell her to bring her kid to Disneyland. I’m sure they separate their oils for the snotty little brats.

An all around old fashioned general store and then some. Seasonal but remains open till mid October or so. It hasn't changed all that much since the 1950s, a few menu upgrades, beer, wine, good food and ice cream, sundries, basic groceries. Also plenty of beach toys and sunscreen!

I loved the manager Joe Swanson, he truly makes the Oceanside muffins worth eating

I've been going here for 20+ years. Staff is friendly, food is great. Try the fish sandwich, fries and onion rings, and teriyaki wrap. Ice cream right on the beach - you can't pass that up.

Service was great and the Ice cream was fantastic.

Surprisingly fresh seafood. Good beer selection. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Limited seating but with a view of the sea. Nice find.
