The current review score for this store is absolutely not matching what it is after the ownership turnover. It is clean and well-organized, the staff are always kind and supportive. Not to mention, I always stumble upon amazing deals on high-quality branded children clothes. The selling has been positive experience too. After driving halfway across town to other supposedly 'better' locations, I realized how fortunate I am to have such a gem in my community. Keep up the fantastic work!

Great locally-woman owned shop. New owners of about a year have cleaned, remodeled and organized for a fresh look and feel. Amply stocked, always. Toys and books are neatly displayed and arranged. Often, many unopened small toy hot buys near registers. Quality top brand shoes and baby "gadgets" are displayed behind/above registers, as well.
Selling is quick and easy, via two kiosks and employees ready to assist. If you have sold already, you just set your items on the counter, slide ID onto kiosk and follow the prompts. You will select how many bags/boxes you've brought, then select if you will wait or would like to be texted when ready. Some items may not be accepted seasonally. Under new ownership! The Maplewood location is under new ownership and the store reflects these changes (positive thing because this store had so much potential!). It's more organized, cleaner, they have better curated clothes, they're more active on social media (!), the sales reps were approachable and kind, and the store isn't smelly anymore. I can imagine more growth from this location in the future. Oh, and found some great gems during my trip today!

I infrequently go here to find stuff. I have found winterboots here and jackets. It's seems more clean and more organized. Seems like they have a good selection of little people clothes.

My new favorite store! One of the few OUC’s I’ve found that actually has a solid selection of infant boys clothes. I stop in all the time to grab little things here and there, and it seems like there’s always a sale of some sort going on. The new owner is awesome. I’ve noticed she’s very nice to her employees. I was in the store today and heard her ordering them all coffee drinks for their hard work. Happy employees make for happy customers!

This store is so incredible and one of the best OUAC I’ve been to. The new owner is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They also have been great with buying items and offering cash!

I’ve been shopping here for the last 4 years and it’s usually a good experience. Employees are helpful and courteous. Huge variety of baby and kid items: clothing, toys, bassinets, swaddles, bouncers, strollers, etc. Selection is well organized except for the shoes (they are sorted out in bins, but the sizing labels are confusing). Overall it’s good! And I’m really grateful for a place I can get kids stuff without the hefty price tag.

Well organized, tidy store with great prices! HUGE selection of kids clothing in all sizes. The employees were friendly, willing to help, & able to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this Once Upon A Child location. If you haven't already been there, you should definitely check it out. You'll be happy that you did!

Very simple and easy perfect place to drop off kids clothes

They had a wide variety of cute summer clothes in many sizes, colors, and styles and amazing prices definitely would recommend.

Great place get kids clothes new and used at low prices and get paid for the items your kids outgrow, great stuff low price it’s a win win and once in a while it’s even more of a sale! Like half off certain color tag or sales like that, I went to get my son some summer shorts an left with a new summer wardrobe, so we donated his summer clothes I had in storage and when summers over I’m going back for fall and winter too, because this is the year I guess he’s to big for everything I had saved? Kids grow so fast, this shop makes being a mom more affordable and less stressful, they take gently used cloths

The store is VERY reasonable in what they buy. I am always greeted and have never had a bad experience buying or selling (which I've done both!) I think some may have unrealistic expectations on what they should be offered for their clothes (even if they are brand new!) Recommend shopping here.

Amazing prices for good used children's clothes. I buy almost all my child's clothes here. The clothes are like new, since kids grow out of them so fast. Plus, reusing clothes is earth friendly.

This place is nearly always a bit cluttered, but if you stop in regularly you can find some amazing deals on nearly new and sometimes clearly brand new kids clothes, equipment, and toys. Saved $40 on like new jacket and shoes for a one year old today.

omg they had the cutest little pair of boots for my daughter and lord the staff was so kind to me! I felt like I was talking to my nieces they were so nice! These girls are working their butts off #greatemployees #helpingthechildren

Clean and tidy. Not too crowded either, which was nice because if the dressing rooms are closed, one might get lucky to get their 10 year old boy to take off his shies and squeeze pants up over his shorts... without an audience in the aisles.
