I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team for my wedding! Taylor, Jackie, and Megan were so sweet. They took on 9 of us, and were so professional and efficient.

They took into account all of our inspo photos and any concerns we had.

My mom never wears makeup, and was very nervous. Taylor made her feel so comfortable. She looked absolutely stunning.

My young nieces were so excited to have their hair and makeup done. Megan did such a fantastic job with them. My bridesmaids and I loved everything about our looks.

The Makeup Loft did my wedding bridal/bridesmaids hair and makeup, everyone was so impressed with the quality, efficiency, and beauty of the looks! Most girls had soft glam makeup and updo. It is easy to be apprehensive when getting hair and makeup done for an event by someone you have never met however none of the girls had to do their own touch ups and the looks lasted from 9am - 1am. The same stylist at my trial was there at my wedding to do bridal hair and makeup. They were prompt/on time at start and finish. Throughout the planning process Allie was responsive to emails and inquiries and I never felt worried that they would fall through. Would recommend to other brides and bridal parties!

Janelle did my makeup for prom using Cosmakery and it turned out absolutely beautiful. I loved everything about the look, she was very professional, very kind, and understood exactly what I was looking for. The product is not too thick, yet still has great coverage. I would recommend this product to anyone who wears makeup. It is great for a fancy occasion or even just everyday wear. I have very sensitive skin and had no rashes or skin irritation from this product as well. 10/10!

I had a great experience with The Makeup Loft for my wedding! They provided on-site hair and makeup services for myself and the 3 ladies in my bridal party. They provided hair services for my mom too! They arrived timely and finished within the expected time window (with some time to spare!) which was perfect for our wedding day agenda. It was nice having the opportunity to book a trial run and have the same stylists for my trial as my wedding day. I had Jalyn for makeup services and Ashley for hair, I would highly recommend them both as I received many compliments on the results of both services! I loved the studio in Plymouth when I went for my trial, I purchased the offered touchup kit after my trial and I am so glad I did! Allie helped answer all of my questions throughout the booking process and was also very friendly. Highly recommend!

The Makeup Loft provided makeup services for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding this past September. We were super happy with the results! I worked with Sara and we did two trials to nail down the perfect look for wedding day. Sara was wonderful, listened to my thoughts and suggestions, and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I got ENDLESS compliments on the makeup, and I still felt like I looked like myself (which was one of my biggest concerns). All of my bridesmaids also really liked their makeup and had no complaints! Sara was prompt, on-time, and stayed on schedule with no problem. As a final note, the prices via The Makeup Loft are very reasonable! I would recommend them to anybody searching for a makeup artist without hesitation!

I couldn't be happier with having The Makeup Loft do my hair and makeup for my wedding day! One of my very good friends used them for their wedding, and I had to check them out. They have a very cute space in Plymouth, and the owner Allie was so nice, welcoming, and helpful. I was very pleased with the work of the staff and their professionalism during my hair and makeup trial, and they were willing to come all the way to Rochester to do hair and makeup for the whole wedding party! Taylor (Makeup Artist) and Jackie (Hair Stylist) are so amazing and talented, and I got so many compliments about my hair and makeup for my wedding! This company is very easy and accommodating to work with . You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely loved my makeup and hair done for my son’s wedding! I felt so beautiful and natural that day as mother of the groom. I was beaming in the pictures! my makeup and hair lasted all night long. I was so impressed with the services for the large wedding party and both mothers, they were professional and personal! I even had eyelashes included in the makeup services what a pleasant surprise and made a real difference! Thank you to all the girls especially Rachel, Nicole and Janelle.

WOW WOW WOW. Haylie and Megan were so professional and did such an incredible job!! Allie was so prompt in responding and helped coordinate my trials and gave some helpful suggestions to make the look I was going for come to life! The salon is beautiful and well-cared for, everyone there is so kind and are your personal hype-women!! You feel like a celebrity with the look they create and the experience. We couldn’t believe how quickly they got everyone done, and how flawlessly everyone looked! Haylie was on hair and was able to give everyone exactly the vibe they wanted, while giving it her own creative twist! Megan was on make up for my ladies and was so nice and helped make sure they all looked and felt their most beautiful! Haylie was taking care of me and made sure my hair would last all day (and stayed through the next day!) and my make up highlighted my natural beauty! My husband even asked if I had any on my face because he felt like it was so natural. I absolutely loved working with them and I’m sure I’ll be back in the future… wink wink … if you are looking for a first class experience and want to feel like you’re the star, run, don’t walk, and book with these ladies!!

The team at The Makeup Loft has to be one of the kindest I've met! I ended up doing all four of my bridal looks with them, and each time was a joy and a relaxing experience. The team is helpful, kind, and very compassionate as we moved through everything! I loved working with Allie to set everything up, Hayley for my three hair looks, and Jaylyn for most of my makeup (shoutout Hayley for my shimmer look). I recommend them to everyone!

We used The Makeup Loft for our daughter's wedding, and we cannot begin to express our appreciation for everyone there. From the first phone call with Allie, the communication regarding the day (the makeup artist was coming on site to do the bridal party makeup), every step of the way was an amazing experience. I cannot say enough about Taylor!!! I had a Glaminar with her today, and it was absolutely amazing 😍. I've never really known how to do or even describe makeup, and after a few bad experiences with having it done as a bridesmaid, I wanted to learn so I could have a better experience. Taylor was so kind and helpful. She walked me through a full look step-by-step. She did half my face and had me do the other half, which was a great way to learn. She also taught me the lingo, gave me pointers based on my skin and eyes, and gave me things to consider for my own wedding day. I walked away feeling SO MUCH more comfortable, knowledgeable, and confident. She is absolutely wonderful, and she gave me a beautiful look that I feel I can easily practice at home. I feel so pretty ❤. I can't thank her enough! I'd definitely recommend her for any of your makeup needs.

I had the makeup loft do my makeup and hair for my wedding. They did a great job and I was very impressed with how my hair and makeup turned out.
I highly recommend doing a trial since I did make some minor adjustments to my makeup and hair from my trial. They were really easy to work with and my makeup and hair stayed looking great throughout the day.

I have been using the cosmakery blush for 2 years now, and i think its so wonderful. Its such a pretty color and stays on all day.

I had been on the fence about getting eyelash extensions for a vacation. I absolutely love them. Taylor is wonderful. She sat down with me and asked what my goals were for the extensions and instead of up selling or getting me to step out of my comfort zone she suggested to start with a classic look. With my goal being not to have to wear mascara while I’m vacation (humidity, water and sweat = rabid raccoon). She kept me talking and patiently answered questions throughout the application process. Before I knew it I was done and had these fabulous lashes that look like my real lashes with a boost! They look so pretty 🤩 Totally worth the time and investment! Thank you Taylor!

I worked with this salon through a photoshoot with Va Va Voom. The hairstylist and makeup artist were both so friendly, fun, and efficient! Their speed did not come at the cost of quality because I felt and looked amazing. The hairstylist worked super well with my hair type (and length lol) and gave me beautiful soft waves. The makeup artist listened to my concerns and preferences (I wear very minimal makeup, the most I really do is eyeliner), and I didn't want to feel like I had layers and layers of cakey makeup on. We opted for a natural, clean, enhanced look, and it was perfect. I liked it so much that I asked for a list of the products she used in order to use them for my own wedding, and she happily gave me a card with all the specifics. If I had to work with them again, I would in an instant!

My daughter had Janelle and her staff do the make up for her wedding and it was a fantastic experience. Since then, I use Cosmakery daily and have even gifted a close friend a gift certificate for an in person tutorial. 5 stars all the way

Working with The Makeup Loft for my wedding day was absolutely amazing! They are great with communication leading up to the event and making sure a make up trial is scheduled so that you can go over your preferences with the hair and make up team. They listened to what I wanted and helped provide feedback and suggestions for what would pair well with my hair type and hair comb, what colors would work well with my skin tone for make up to help me achieve a natural yet glammed up version of myself- and damn did they deliver! They took photos during the trial so they could recreate this beauty the day of my wedding. While I had some minor adjustments for my wedding day, they listened and completely exceeded my expectations. I felt like a total bombshell bride and my bridesmaids were absolutely stunning! The team arrived on time and were quick and efficient. They had wonderful personalities and kept us laughing and having fun throughout the whole glam process. They also helped touch up several of us prior to leaving. They were an incredible team to work with and I can’t recommend them enough!

Loved my experience with The Makeup Loft! Everyone I worked with was professional, friendly, and really made me feel and look my best for my wedding day. They listened to what I was looking for, and I felt like myself but just a more glowing, radiant version! My mom, sister/maid of honor, and mother in law also loved the experience. Super cute inside their Plymouth location too for getting ready photos. Highly recommend, especially Amanda for makeup!
