Kemnitz Fine Candies

I love this chocolate shop! I just visited for the first time on Valentine's Day. I usually order chocolate from Belgium for gift giving, but didn't plan ahead this year. Kemnitz to the rescue! I chose every piece that went into the box so I know he'll love every one. The service was great and the chocolate is divine. In fact, my husband let me know that he'd prefer chocolates from Kemnitz in the future over the stuff I've been giving him for years. You've won a new customer.

We had the coconut clusters and the nutter butter chocolate covered cookie and both were very good. The staff was very nice and friendly and the place looks nice now that it’s remodeled.

Kemnitz Candies is a Plymouth treasure. They have a wonderful selection of chocolates and candy. The staff is very friendly and makes a visit a great experience.

Since their grand reopening, Kemnitz has never ceased to impress.

Their wide selection of classic chocolates and candies has maintained a very high standard for quality. Of the many purchases I've made, my favorite has been a custom box of their assorted truffles. The sales lady very happily helped me identify the different varieties and then packaged them into a professional-looking box.

The classic flavors they provide are not easily found anywhere else in Michigan, and their new flavors are entirely unique. Of particular note is their hot-pepper-chocolate challenge. A completely new idea which perfectly combines a love for super-hot peppers with exceptional chocolate.

Most recently I stopped in near closing time and was still pleased to find the sales lady to be extremely pleasant and helpful, and the brandied cherries we got were world-class.

LOVE these chocolates and store! The new owners are so kind and the staff is super helpful! Love that the new owners kept the old recipes but are making new stuff too! The store also looks beautiful since the remodel. Also love that I can order ahead or online if I have a lot to get or want to ship to friends and family out of state!

We stopped by yesterday because we understand that the owners are retiring and this candy shop is closing and we have been visiting for a long time. My son wanted to pick up some of the candy fruit slices that he always likes from there so we get those along with some chocolates for the whole family.

We always get great service and enjoy conversation with the employees here. I hope they find someone else to purchase this place and continue to run it as a candy shop.

We have been coming here for nearly 35 years. Always friendly service, so happy to see it being taken over by the next group. We stopped in shortly after they reopened and the remodel keeps the original charm while bringing it forward to today. We will continue to come and enjoy the candies.

Thank you for all the years of very fine candy and chocolates. Will miss the best chocolate cover cherries in Michigan. I’m a dislike fan of cherries but, love the ones you made. I will miss the smell of chocolate and candies as I walk in. Again will be missed. Enjoy your retirement you both desire it. Gods blessings. Jeff

MOST BEAUTIFUL CHOCOLATE SHOPE AROUND. My experience at Kemnitz Candies & Gifts was so delightful and delicious!! From the elegant chocolate candies to the stunning heart shaped boxes. Everything was pristine and took you to a warm chocolate paradise. I recommend 110%.

The workers here are very helpful and very kind! They helped me find exactly what I was looking for. My favorite candy place and the prices are reasonable too for the quality.

Getting Easter chocolates here has been a tradition ever since I was a kid. The chocolate is of incredible quality, makes you never want to stop eating it! :)

I love their heavenly hash! Hard to find it without nuts. My daughter's love their peanut butter smoothies and the milk chocolate coconut patties.
