Primp Beauty Bar

Primp Beauty is a fabulous salon! I booked them first for my wedding hair and make-up. They were extremely talented and made me feel so beautiful. I loved them so much, I am now continuing to go for extensions, blowouts, and other services. Everyone there (especially Chrissy and Molly!) are so down-to-earth, so fun to talk to, helpful, and TALENTED. I feel so comfortable and beautiful every time I walk out. I would highly recommend Primp for any service!!!!

Excellent customer service. I do not nickel and dime when it comes to beauty treatments because you get what you pay for and Primp always blows me away with my looks. Worth every penny +++!
I am extremely picky and my artist took the time to listen to my wants and ideas and gave suggestions and nailed the look I asked for. I was pressed for time that day because I had some last minutes stops before my event and the owner jumped in on her own and double teamed on my hair. Awesome team work! They got me so confident and pumped for my event and left so happy!

I had my engagement hair and make up done, bridal trial and had my wedding party along with mothers get their hair and make up done through Primp Beauty. Everyone is just the sweetest! I had Malari and Mariah for my wedding day. I cannot get over how beautiful I felt that day and all the girls were beyond obsessed with how theirs turned out. Also, they were so kind, sweet and patient ♥

Parker and Da’stanza made me feel so beautiful on my big day! They also had my bridal party looking amazing! Both ladies are well experienced working with multiple ethnicities which was very important to me as I have a very diverse bridal party! Thank you times 1000!

I had a very small ceremony November 1, 2020 (just parents and siblings), and wanted to look nice but not overly glam. I don’t wear makeup on a regular basis, and my hair is usually in a bun on top of my head. I wanted to look nice, but also like myself. Primp’s team did an amazing job finding that balance. I came into the studio that morning (I live nearby and this was easier than having them come to the venue, but they would have been willing to do that if I’d asked). It was so easy and they made me feel so special. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Malari was AMAZING!! She came to our house for my sister’s wedding hair and makeup and it was one of the best bridal party styling experiences I’ve ever had! She was so helpful with making suggestions and making our simple requests look amazing. My hair looks and feels wonderful and the makeup as well. She even rolled with the flow with an extra request we threw at her last minute. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Chrissy the owner of Primp is AMAZING! I booked Primp for my wedding coming up this July last year and she has been nothing shy of the best throughout the journey so far! Very responsive to emails, helping me achieve my goal look for the wedding! She did a full set of extensions and nailed my hair and makeup trial. From start to finish, they took AMAZING care of me and my 5 ladies! Professional, accommodating, and hands down, top quality styling! If I could give 11/10 stars for this company I would. I'm a #CoronaBride and for the longest time I didn't think it would effect my wedding, boy was I wrong. Holly is AMAZING to work with, she has been so accommodating and understanding to all of my plan changes and just pure unorganized-ness.

I've got to primp for the spray tan services and my engagement hair and make up, Chrissy is the actual best and made me look like a glam queen. I've also been for a blow-out and scalp treatment with Georgia! She is the sweetest person and so fun to chat with, I also looked amazing after. Then Mel gave me the most goddess lashes I have ever had in my entire life, they were a WHOLE mood and I loved every minute of them.

Primp is nothing but professional, clean, and truly one of my favorite companies. Chrissy the owner is so knowledgeable, great, and just a wonderful individual. Can't wait for my wedding hair and makeup trial because I know it's about to be BOMB.

Starting with my initial trial, Ana was great and made me feel comfortable with my look. She gave great recommendations and made my vision come to life.

The day of my wedding was seamless. They arrived promptly on-site and got straight to work. These ladies work so fast and we were never stressed for time. The make up for the girls was done so well, and I was asked tons of times who did the girl's make up because it was so natural and flawless, and the ladies still looked very much like themselves.

The hair and make up lasted throughout the entire night through hours of dancing!

I can't say enough good things about Primp Beauty - you'll have a stress free morning with them!

I looked for a salon in the area that provided waterfall beaded row extensions and found Primp Beauty Bar. Chrissy was super informative and great at setting expectations. She was very personable and clearly experienced in a wide variety of services. We just finished my initial install yesterday and I am thrilled with the results!

Chrissy and her team were amazing! I used them for my makeup trials, engagement pics hair and makeup, and on the big day! They made all my bridesmaids look and feel amazing. I cannot thank them enough for the job well done!

Gorgeous, professional hair and makeup! I was beyond impressed with the Primp team and how great they made all my girls look for my wedding. I had a group that included a Jr. Bridesmaid (age 10) all my bridesmaids (mid-late 20's), MOB,MOG and the grandmother of the groom and everyone's hair and makeup turned out amazing even with the varying ages / needs. I have a darker skin complexion as did several of the girls in my party and they were able to match our makeup tones perfectly and used great complementing colors that made us all glow. The hair/ makeup team came to our hotel room that we were getting ready in which made a hectic day that much easier without having to travel back and forth between a studio. They were finished on time and even had time for some quick touch ups at the very end. This was definitely the most fabulous I have ever felt and I am so happy it was for my wedding day!

My hair held up beautifully day of - my flower comb didn't move an inch, the curls held (a miracle!) and I don't think I lost a single bobby pin, yet nothing looked cemented to my head, hah. I could not have been more pleased with the way it turned out! All of my bridesmaids hair looked great, too!

My makeup looked awesome as well and seemed to stay put for the most part. I think it looked great both in person and in pictures.

I did run into two 'issues' that I'll share for other brides so they know they are in good hands if they decide to hire Primp - which I think they should, because the team clearly worked through them effortlessly!

First, my trial was a few months before and honestly, I didn't love it. I went back and forth on if I should look elsewhere or just do it myself. My makeup in particular was too light in some places, not my preferred colors, more matte than I'd like, and the eyelashes prevented me from opening my eyes all the way...IDK if they were too heavy or applied weird or what, but it gave me ALL KINDS of anxiety wondering what to do day of. A week or so before the wedding, I sent updated pictures to Chrissy along with notes about exactly what I wanted changed, and day of I had literally 0 complaints or changes - it was all perfect! I think I just needed to speak up more during the trial.

Second, one of my bridesmaids added makeup at the last minute. Chrissy let me know this could throw us off schedule and asked for approval - she communicated exactly what the impact would be really well. It did cause a bunch of stress day of since the timeline was all out of whack, but again that was our issue - Primp communicated very clearly beforehand the risk of this happening and in the moment what the impact would be. So really - kudos to Chrissy and team for running such a tight ship and being so flexible day of!

Again, could not go wrong with Primp and I really appreciate how they made me feel so beautiful on my big day!

Primp did an amazing job with my blowout! I loved being able to choose from a variety of styles: from straight to a more full and curly hairstyle. Jocelyn did my blowout and I left feeling amazing and beautiful! AND it lasted for four days and still looked just as good as when I left the salon. I will definitely be coming back and telling my friends 😊

I was gifted a blow out at Primp and honestly, it was one of the best gifts I've ever received! I left feeling like a million bucks and looking like a total babe! I know that the next time I want to treat myself or have an event to attend, I'm stopping at Primp first!

I'm also a wedding/boudoir photographer and I've witness the magic Primp can do first hand. In fact, I exclusively use Primp to get my boudoir clients look like absolute goddesses for their pictures.

Chrissy and her staff are true professionals. Chrissy works tirelessly to ensure you are completely satisfied with her services. My hair has never looked this good. She sets achievable and realistic goals. Her honesty is very much appreciated and I highly recommend her. Not all hair stylists are created equally and Chrissy remains at the top.

I just had my wedding hair and make up down through Primp beauty bar and I can HANDS DOWN say that they are absolutely amazing. Alyson was phenomenal to work with. She listened to what all my bridesmaid wanted and catered to exactly the look I was going for. I would highly recommend using Primp beauty bar for any bridal party. They are absolutely AMAZING!!!
